Switches

Andrew, the owner, was great from the start. He honored a coupon that had just expired the prior week and he kept in touch with me until we found a mutually convenient time for both the inspection and subsequent work to be done. He sent Vlad for the home inspection. I then decided that I all I needed at the moment was to replace 3 switches and he sent Vlad again to do that. Great communication re timing.Vlad was very nice, worked quickly, and did a great job. I'm very happy. Even though this was a small job, I was never made to feel that it wasn't important to them.

Ceiling fan

I called him on Monday asking to have my ceiling fan fixed and have the knob replaced. He was very flexible with setting up a time to come, because I told him I prefered Tuesday afternoon. The technician came on time and was able to solve the issue with the ceiling fan. It was something electrical. I would definitely recommend Community Electric to everybody.

wiring, lighting

I called on Friday to schedule an estimate and Vlad came out on Monday and was doing the work the very next day. His guys were absolute professionals. We live in a prewar building and were very concerned that the ceiling light instillation was going to take down all the plaster. Not only were they super responsive to our concern, but they were able to do the job without a single knick, scratch, or crack. The wiring is also super old and they were able to get the new fixtures in without having to rewire the whole thing. Best of all, they cleaned up after themselves. They actually took out my vacuum cleaner and vacuumed my floor. I was so pleased with them that I will never use anyone else ever again and I would recommend them to everyone!

Basement rewiring

This was a great job from the initial phone call until the the minute these guys cleaned up and walked out. Very professional. The owner Vlad returned my call within minutes, set up a day for his partner Andrew to do a walk through. Andrew showed up, did the walk through, assessed the job (which was fairly large) and gave an estimate. Despite the size of the job he said he could get it done in one full day. We set a date and he and his crew showed up, worked all day and finished the job by that afternoon. I was very satisfied with the work done and the results looked exactly how he said it would. I have contracted with Community Electric again to install a line for a washing machine and electric dryer and a heated bathroom floor.

electrical service upgraded to 200 amps

We had our electrical service upgraded to 200 amp and our ceiling fan replaced. Community Electric showed up right on time, knew exactly what had to be done, completed both jobs with no problems, cleaned up after job, were polite and friendly. I would use them again and recommend them highly. This was not my first time using Homestars, and surprisingly every time I find great contractors!!!

$1,800.00
