We went through Home Depot to get a deck put up and they put us in touch with Rob from Maritime West Construction. He got back to us very quickly and offered suggestions to refine our design after listening to the thoughts and concerns my wife and I had. His main concern was that the finished product would be exactly as we hoped. We were so impressed with Rob that we also contracted Maritime to build our garage as well! Rob and his team were on site to begin work in a matter of days. I felt confident with what was going on as he clearly communicated everything to us at every step. We would highly recommend Rob and Maritime West for any project you may be considering!

When we realized that our old deck was a rotten disaster, we reached out to the Tuscany Home Depot who put us in touch with Maritime West Construction. From the first time we met him, we knew that Rob was the right man for the job. He is enthusiastic, professional, and has many years of experience with home renovations. What started as a replacement of a deck grew into a much bigger project including the replacement of the siding on our house, the repair of our fence and gate, and the installation of a new back door. The entire project exceeded our expectations! We were highly impressed with Rob, his crew, and all of his subcontractors, and would definitely recommend him for any of your construction needs.

We obtained Rob's contact information from the Deck Place. We had two other quotes but Rob's was by far the best (price, start date). He and his crew were on time and kept us informed as job progressed. Rob helped with suggestions to make us happy with the final product. Rob came to our home last November to provide a quote for our 2 1/2 bath renovations. We explained what we wanted including a new door on the master bath. He listened patiently and provided suggestions from fixtures, tubs, showers, vanities, up to the paint colour. We went with Maritime, and his crews worked right away. They were all very professional. The bathrooms were finished on time and on budget. We were very happy with the results that we asked him to do our basement development.

Rob helped us with the design for 1 bedroom, 3 piece bathroom, and a family room for our basement this past January. He provided suggestions on where best to position each rooms, explained the progress at each stage of the permitting process (building, electrical, and plumbing), up to paint and finishing touches. The basement finished on time and budget.

Rob and his crews did a great job on both our bathrooms and basement development. We are now enjoying the new space!

We went to Home Depot to inquire about building a deck. They advised that we could get it built for us by Maritime West Construction. Within 24 hours we received a call to arrange a meeting to get an estimate. We agreed to the cost and in a couple of weeks we had a new walkout deck into our back yard.

That was the best decision we made. The deck looks terrific and the workmanship was top notch. We would recommend this company to everyone and we will definitely use this company for future projects.

We got in touch with Maritime West Construction through Home Depot. Rob Clerk and his crew is very easy to work with and handle this job professionally and in a timely manner. They built us a beautiful deck and we are very pleased with it.

Home Depot had put me in touch with Maritime West Construction. Robert and his crew replaced the 7 year old Trex (which was disintegrating) on my deck with new Trex . In the process, it was discovered that the wooden support trusses were rotten in many places and would also need to be replaced. Robert and his crew were wonderful! When he did the estimate, he informed me that the old Trex was still under warranty and gave me the phone number and website info so I could contact them to put in a claim. Within days, Trex had phoned me back and approved the claim. The very next day, Robert had the new materiel delivered and by 6pm, had built me a beautiful new deck! It was a very warm day and Robert and his crew laboured under the hot sun to finish the deck in one day, so I could enjoy it on the upcoming long weekend. I have a brand new deck and it looks great!! Robert the owner responded to my phone enquiry immediately and scheduled a visit within 24 hours to scope out an estimate for building a new deck. ( I found him on the TREX website , where he is very highly rated for installing that product) We were pleased with the quote and then realized that Robert could be the "general contractor" for additional work as he has sub-trades for everything we needed. This included fixing exterior stucco, a complete paint job on the outside of the house, two new garage doors with all new motors, new exterior lights installed and a handful of odds and ends handy man jobs around the house. Despite rain that slowed down the painting, everything was completed within 9 work days, one week ahead of schedule. The workmanship was excellent and on top of it , all the workers were very pleasant and nice to deal with. We plan to have Robert and his team back in a couple of months to upgrade the interior of our garage. Robert is a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend him.
We were pleasantly surprised when they were able to start the job one week early and even more pleased when all the sub-trades showed up on schedule.

We called Maritime West Construction and the owner Robert contacted us for an estimate on replacing and expanding our 15 yr old rotting wooden deck with composite boards that will last a lot longer. I also wanted black metal railings.

All our neighbors have commented very positively on our new deck, and those who soon will need new decks themselves, have asked me for the name of this company.
