2.5 months with no resolution following issues
We contracted You Move Me to help with a move on May 18. We were initially satisfied with the quote and support in scheduling, and the team of movers who worked with us that day were hard workers. However, numerous things went wrong and we are still struggling for resolution.
(A) The move was quoted for significantly shorter amount of time than needed, and such misscheduling lead to exhausted workers who could not eat lunch until many hours after starting and who made poor choices by the end of a long day (note - not mad at the workers, but poor management).
(B) The poor choice led to significant property damange of a $2000 couch, our basement wall, and a doorway (again, if move had been managed properly.
(B2) The extreme underestimate also lead to a significantly higher cost than we were lead to believe, which I would not have an issue with were it not for these other issues.
(C) When I followed the company's instructions for filing a claim within 10 days of move, Nic (manager) responded immediately to say he would follow up with his team and then I have not heard from him since. I followed up once 34 days later, again 8 days after that (copying the general customer service and feedback emails as well), and finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau 20 days ago and am still waiting for a response.
The scheduling was annoying, the damage was frustrating, but the lack of response and accountability is infuriating. Please do not respond to this review with a note to contact customer service as I have already done so, repeatedly.
