Ted The Terminator Inc.

Did not do the work. We stopped the service. He still went and charged our credit card weeks later even though we had cancelled any future visits. Unable to get a refund. Always a story. Blaming someone in Texas. Promising to give me the cash. Telling me to go to the credit card company etc. Please do not make the mistake of using this guy. I wish I had known how frustrating it would be.

Beware of this company, man came in sprayed a few drops here and there said ants would take poison back to nest, must still be walking there. He refused to listen, when I suggested spraying in the crawl space or other places. sprayed a few drops only where I had seen the ants. Had to have him back 3 times.

More ants, but called a professional company, first thing they said, we will do the outside perimeter, inside whole house, asked us questions, listened to us too, for our concerns, and answered competently.

Had I checked Ted the Terminator ratings in the first place, and seen how poor they are rated, would not have called, but had a family emergency going on at the same time.

Beware, they are not good, you will be wasting your money. He said his work was guaranteed for a year, but after calling him back 3 times, there was obviously no point going for a 4th call, when you know he will do nothing again, except spray a few drops. I can do that with a can of Raid.

I rated 0 stars because that is what this guy was worth. Fancy company name, but not good work.

When the technician arrived he was so old that i wondered if if was safe for him to go down into the crawl space and I was wondering if someone was going to pop out with a camera and yell, "You're on Candid Camera!". For $250 they placed "one" five dollar wooden rat trap inside of the entire crawl space. Once he was down in the crawl space, he stepped all over the rat droppings before climbing up and tracking it through my hallway to the front door. I asked him if he could find the point of entry and he said, "Oh, god no. You'll never find it because there's so many places they can get in" then pointed out a spot where my new puppy had been digging under a tree and said, "look...they're even digging here!" They promised six months of monitoring, but have never come back. This was all I got for my money. If you try to call them, they don't answer the phone or return calls after leaving a voicemail. I've since had to fight this problem on my own, and located the point of entry as the open bottoms on the vinyl siding corner pieces (apparently this is a very common point of entry so why this wasn't checked is beyond me). I should also point out that the horrible mess and smell that rats leave behind (the worst part about having rats or mice) was not addressed at all by this company. They promised a deodorizing treatment (which I never received), but spraying the droppings with perfume would be like spraying dog poop with perfume...so this offer was a bit of a joke as well. I don't write reviews very often, but feel like this company bilked me out of $250 and wanted to warn people. Do yourself a favour and find someone who gets better reviews.

They have no idea how to rid a house of any infestation. They refuse to actually look for the source. All they want to do is ramdonly spray everyware. And trying to get them to answer the phone is like spliting hairs.

Don't go with this company. The owner came out because I had rats in my crawl space. He told me that he would put a few traps in there with peanut butter and that would take care of them. The first rat was caught within 3 days. I scheduled an appointment for him to come to remove the rat as I have a gate and dog that needed to be put away. He never showed up. I called back re-scheduled for the next day and they gave me an hour time frame. They showed up more than 3 hours later. Then about a week later, another rat was caught. Same thing, scheduled an appointment and they never showed up. So, I decided to just remove these things myself. Then after awhile, after I kept catching these things, I decided to ask for my money back because the problem was never solved. They told me that my 6 month warranty had expired and they couldn't do that. Then I called the owner, Ted. He just told me that he didn't really want to talk about it and if I had a problem, to go to the Better Business Bureau. They didn't even contact me once for follow up in the 6 months. Not once. Save yourself some $$$ and but traps and a jar of peanut butter @ Home Depot or go with a reputable company that has higher standards of work practice.

My husband and I were renovating and putting an extension on our bathroom. When he pulled off the interior wall it exposed a very large and well developed carpenter ant nest. I called them hoping for them to come in as soon as possible. They were there within the hour since they knew disrupting the nest could make them move elsewhere in the home. The treated the area along with other problem areas they found around the home. Two days later they stopped by to see how it was coming along and did a preventive treatment. The contract came with a 1 year warranty incase we had any other issues down the road. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to show us some future problem areas and how to prevent them from happening. The best part was the chemical is safe for my children and pets to be around. Could not have asked for a better service!

Ants from wall behind into my kitchen cupboards. Last year lady technician from Ted was very thorough and got rid of ants. I was very happy. This year ants appeared again. New technician came twice, after they missed first appointment, for which I especially took a vacation day. They did not get rid of the ants. Poor, sloppy and careless attitude and spraying by this tech. Very unprofessional. I have to resource to store bought sprays. Would not contract "Ted" again.

We called Ted the Terminator last April in order to get rid of our Carpenter ants . Ted claimed that he has a better method of dealing with the problem and that he is cheaper. We paid upfront . Ted promised to get rid of the ants . He injected from the outside in couple of places and sprinkled white powder in our yard. A year later the ants showed up in big numbers. He came again , sprinkled his white powder BUT DID NOT GET RID OF THE ANTS ! Now we have to consult with another Ant terminators! I don't think his method works!
