The Customer didn't do his annual maintenance service since installation as required to keep his labour warranty valid with Casati. In good faith, when the customer contacted Casati in January, we offered a grace period in which we would do a maintenance service in January and diagnose the furnace for any issues at the same time. The Customer claimed he was not available for our technician to perform the service and he agreed that he will book the maintenance service in February after returning from vacation. Instead, he sent Casati an email yesterday advising that his furnace is now working well and speculating on what the issue might have been in January. The customer is not a licensed HVAC technician, therefore, his speculations are not enough to determine any issue with the furnace, as there are so many variables involved and it might not even be the furnace that is causing any apparent issues.

The Customer tried to have us diagnose the furnace over the phone, which we advised we will not do because it's not by code and proper practice via phone. We offered again to do a service which he obviously declined because he wrote this review after receiving our response.

Yearly maintenance is a requirement by the manufacturer, as well as, Casati, to keep ltd. parts and labour warranties valid. This is clearly indicated on the Customer's work order that he signed.

It's unfortunate that we get a review like this based on the unwillingness of the Customer to keep his end of the agreement. It's also interesting that the customer won't identify himself in the review. We're not sure why this is permitted since he's identifying our company and causing harm to its reputation by his unwarranted claim.
