Sometimes, you just need a hand with a few odd jobs and it's challenging finding someone willing to take these on when there are bigger, more lucrative jobs to be had.

I contacted Fred to assist with a stuck pocket door and to install a dining room light fixture. I submitted my request through his website and he responded promptly indicating he would call on the telephone to discuss the work. Fred rang when he said he would, provided a best-case/worst-case scenario estimate, and arranged a date and time for the job. He arrived on time, scoped out the work and completed the job to a high standard.

It's worth pointing out that most contractors would cut the drywall to access the stuck pocket door. Fred didn't go that route. He was able to repair the door without any damage to the wall, which saved me a great deal of time and money. And, the dining room light fixture looks great.

Fred is professional, efficient and knows his stuff. I would not hesitate to call upon Fred again.

This is the second job Fred has done for my Mom. The first one he fixed an old bedroom door in her place which worked out really well. This time she needed a wheelchair ramp built which was a more involved project. Fred did another great job. He finished the ramp in the time estimated and at the cost estimated. Fred is easy to contact, is reliable and friendly. I will use him in the future and would recommend his service.

Fred is great - very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. When I called him to make an appointment to install my ceiling fan I was expecting to book a week+ in advance but he was able to come out just a few days after we spoke on the phone. He arrived promptly and even spent an extra 1/2 hour at my home to complete a couple other smaller jobs that I inquired about on the spot. I will definitely hire Fred again and highly recommend him! Fred was awesome, knowledgeable, prompt, and professional. Others had told me I needed to cut open the ceiling to remove the old fan but Fred got it out without having to do that or the subsequent repairs. He arrived on time, fully equipped, and had the new, slightly larger fan in and everything cleaned up in under 2 hours. It is a relief for me to have found someone like Fred.

Fred is very professional. We had many small jobs, e.g. hanging up numerous pictures/paintings/mirrors/blinds, installing hooks, caulking the bathroom counters and repairing small holes in the wall...
