P Trap in basement floor - concrete repair
We called several plumbers to repair a sewage smell in the basement, Mike M from Mr Rooter shows up and speaks with the female of the house and says the P trap in the basement drain is broken and needs to be fixed to correct the problem. Get quote and start work next day.
After having the floor open and drain replaced, Mike says the drain pipes in the floor are cracked/broken and need to be replaced, either in 1 spot or they can replace the entire system. No quote, no idea that this could have been the problem all along. Just high pressure sales tactics with a gaping hole in my basement floor. Unacceptable, told him to finish up what they are doing and be done with it. All this with a backdrop of arguing with me when I began to ask a few questions about why he didn't camera the job before in addition to just walking into my home the first time he showed up like he lived here.
