We had Mark and his team at Ecclesiastical refinishing restore the exterior of our newly acquired cottage and boathouse. They are original 60+ year old pine siding buildings with handmade wood framed windows and screens. The siding had fallen into some disrepair with old layers of stain and a peeled clear coat. There was also some rot in some of the window frames. This was way more than we were willing to tackle ourselves and needed some expertise and a lot of elbow grease to recondition the siding. These guys were very hard working and conscientious and very skillful. They pressure washed and sanded all the surfaces, repaired where needed. The walls and trim needed multiple coats after that. Mark was helpful and knowledgable in helping us pick the right product for our needs and we ended up with a great stain properly applied which should last 15+ years. Some of the work was from scaffold over water. The buildings really look like new now, they gave them a new lease on life. I think these guys were over qualified for our little job, and they seem to do amazing things in their church refinishing business, but we were happy knowing we had real craftspeople working on our property. In our minds the peace of mind was worth the premium price.
