I emailed these guys and got a quote over email. I told them it’s was 7 screens and was told between $400-500 for the screens. They came to the house and I was at work and they did what they thought was their job and I got a bill for almost $900 and the hadn’t even finished. They did screens they weren’t asked to do. At no point did they call me or contact me in any way to say they think other screens should be or could be done or fixed. They just went ahead and did them. If they get to a home and see they can’t do a job for what they quote then communicate that!!! And to top it all off they screens did not fit right! Blew out the first night we opened them. They came back to try and fix them but failed to do so. We were not happy with the screens so they simply came back to take them back. I have since talked to 3 other companies about my screens and find out that doctor screen was not even using the right application for our windows. And they were going to be quite a bit more money then any one else.

I've discussed your issues with our Distributor and I believe he did what he felt was best and that, with the exception of one window that he couldn't get to close a gap in one corner, the other screens were installed properly.
You may have required a specific type of frame which would have to have been ordered from a supplier in Calgary. In situations like this, we can use a slightly different frame which attaches with nylon turn tabs and eliminates gaps from frames that may not be perfectly square or plumb. You declined to allow him to use this method.
I believe there was some mid-communication related by a Lady at the house. She asked to have the black pull tabs replaced that had broken or deteriorated in 3 screens. In order to do that correctly you need to replace the mesh at the same time or they are very likely not to stay in place. There's only a small amount of mesh in the channel after trimming.
In the end you opted to have the all screens removed and were not charged anything but did get 3 new screens and pull handles at no charge. I know our Distributor tried his best to complete the job in a good and workmanlike manner.
