Knob & Tube Replacement

Clayton Electric recently replaced all the knob-and-tube wiring in our home. We had heard horror stories about the kind of damage done during such re-wiring jobs, plus our house was built in 1904 and the walls are lathe and plaster. We were impressed at how Andrew and his team were able to rewire many of the outlets, switches and fixtures with little or no damage. They cleaned-up professionally at the end of each day and at the end of the job.

We used the rewire as an opportunity to re-locate some outlets, switches and light fixtures. Andrew’s team were very accommodating, and gave us many useful suggestions for functionality and safety. They were also very pleasant to have around the house. Their work passed inspection with flying colours.

The work was completed on time and on budget. We have no hesitation to recommend them wholeheartedly.
