Kelk Inspections

My wife and I were putting our house on the market this spring. A family friend recommended Mr Kelk for a home inspection for resale. He was accommodating, professional and very thorough. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to learn about their home using state of the art equipment.

We have used Mr. Steve Kelk to Inspect a century home that we were hoping to purchase, Thankfully with his findings (inadequate electrical) and presence of a fire in the attic we have passed on this dangerous money pit. I look forward to doing business with him in the very near future, including doing the pre-inspection on my current home. We really learned about the house we bought, and how to maintain it.  They found minor issues, and gave us advice on how to go about fixing them.  Thermal Imaging was included for the standard cost!  

We were given a binder packed with great information, and verbal report on site.  He didn't rush off, we were his only concern, he stayed as long as we kept asking him questions.  We really feel that he genuinely cared about us, and the home we had bought.

Looking to purchase an older home the inspection is critical. Stephen performed a very thorough inspection, best I have seen. He walked the house outside and in explaining everything he found, the urgency and what should be done. The inspection took 3 hours of his time, then he followed up with a detailed report including a summary section with references to pictures to see the issues. This inspection was well worth it as many issues were found and possibly saved me thousands of dollars in unknown issues. I definitely recommend Stephen for home inspections and would happily use his services again.

Home inspection for a purchase of a new home. Mr. Kelk prompt and had started with the exterior just as I arrived. He was extremely through. Mr. Kelk explained everything as he went along. He made suggestions and spoke at a level that I understood, nothing was above or over my head in regards to repairs etc. I was very pleased with my home inspection and the report that was sent to me.
