Empire Deck & Interlock

I was very disappointed with the quality of the work for the price I paid. Recently the owner and project manager of Empire Deck and Fence came to visit me in an effort to try and resolve a number of outstanding issues. The plan was for them to come back in the spring and make spring and do additional repairs to the original job. I look forward to the future repairs and a satisfactory completion of the contract. I'll further edit this post in the spring once the work is done.

It is spring and they came back and fixed up the essential repairs as they had promised last fall. I appreciate this and certainly feel a bit better that they honored their warranty. Thanks for that.

Empire staff were highly professional and inspired confidence right from the outset when they came to visit the site and discuss our requirements. They very meticulously noted every detail we asked for and ensured they were reflected in the pricing proposal. They strictly adhered to their timeline and the milestones set out for the project progress, including many quality assurance visits by their senior personnel. The final outcome was better than expected and they have exceeded our expectations.
We can sum it up by: Empire delivered on their promise, with excellent quality.

Empire was great. They really took their time during the design stage, letting me tweak the products until I got just what I wanted. Then the actual construction team was on time, friendly hard workers that also listened to me when I had any concerns and addressed them right away. I love my front porch and new walkway.

We requested quotations from three companies for our fence and retaining wall replacement. Empire came back with the lowest estimate, even using materials superior to those offered by the other companies. There were some delays (about two weeks) in starting the work, owing to difficulties in securing a crew, and ultimately a subcontractor's assessment of the site led to some revisions to the project and a slight increase in costs; these changes were not major, and the overall cost still came in well below the other companies' estimates, but we feel that they should have been anticipated at the estimate stage. In the end, however, we were very pleased with the quality of the work and Empire's communications with us were prompt and professional throughout.

Hired to tear down and replace 2 storey deck with stairs. Quick response to questions, fair quote. Sales team (Ziad & Alex) were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. PM (Bruce) kept us in the loop of any start date changes ( due to a miserable rainy summer) and construction crew (lead by Jordan) did an amazing job and finished a day early! We couldn’t be happier with our awesome new deck.

The work was completed on time and on budget. Quality is good and there were no surprises. All employees were professional and courteous, answering all questions in a timely manner. They made the project a pleasant experience.

The deck was built well and efficiently. We had five guys here for a full day and I couldn't believe they were done. The deck is sturdy, exactly what we'd asked them for. We may bring them back to do some work in the front next year.

I bought a house that desperately needed a complete re-do of the outdoor space. Empire Deck and Fence came to the rescue - new patio, deck, fence, hedge, vegetable gardens and shrub beds. It was a massive undertaking, completed in good time under difficult weather conditions. The results are spectacular, exceeding my expectations. From the moment I met with Ziad and Sia for our backyard deck, I could tell they were more concerned with quality than trying to sell anything. They were meticulous with the details and very thorough with the measurements and planning. They came up with several ideas and suggestions to improve upon what we wanted and impressed me with their dedication to our vision.

We were presented with online plans, an appropriate and very quick timeline, and before we knew it our deck materials were being dropped off. They guys on site were great, disposed of old materials, and were awesome to deal with. The weather didn’t always cooperate, but the guys were willing to stay longer to make sure that things stayed on schedule. Bruce, the project manager, frequently checked in and was great to work with and addressed any questions I had.

Before we knew it, we were BBQing on our brand new composite deck and loving every square foot of it!

The guys at Empire decks are a dream to work with, and we are extremely pleased that we chose them over other companies we met with. We even had Empire do additional work at our house (installing railings around a 17 ft long deep window well to prevent our 2 year wold son from falling in when he plays) just because they were so great to work with, they do an amazing job and they truly care about your project.
