Waterguard Plumbing

We recently had recurring sewer backups and after getting plumbers out 3 different times to clear the backups, we contacted Mike at Waterguard Plumbing to do a camera check and identify the problem. Mike clearly and patiently explained what we were seeing as the camera went into the line and a sag and crack in our sewer line was found, that needed to be repaired.

We met with 4 different companies before deciding to go with Waterguard Plumbing to repair the sewer line. Mike not only took his time to methodically identify the issue but helped us understand the different aspects of the issue. He explained the repair process end to end answering any questions we had. We did not feel pressured to use them.

The pricing for the repair was competitive, however Waterguards estimate was clear and we could easily relate the cost areas to the different aspects of the repair. This made us feel comfortable and confident with selecting Waterguard.

The day of the repair - Mike's team arrived on time. They were professional, courteous and really took extra care with covering / protecting the stairs, furniture & work areas. We felt we were in good hands!

Throughout the repair, Mike and the team provided regular updates and took the time to show us the progress.......without having to ask!

The repair was a large undertaking with digging up an area of the basement and digging a 9-10 ft hole in the front exterior of the house to get to the sewer line. Once the repair was complete, everything was cleaned up and put back in place, looking like they were not even here!

We felt Waterguard not only approached the repair well but went the extra mile taking all the parameters and precautions into account. The outdoor excavation was done by hand to minimize impacts to the landscaping, stairway, driveway, irrigation system, not to mention the tunnel that was dug to ensure the slope and joins could be repaired correctly.

They went the extra mile with adding several practical improvements to the sewer line that has provided that extra assurance that we wont have this issue again.

After the final camera inspection with Mike, we had raised an unrelated issue with our irrigation shut off valve. Without hesitation Mike, looked at it, got to work to diagnose the issue and sorted the issue out.

Overall, we want to say thank you to Mike and his team. You not only came into our home to do the repair, but you did it in a professional and respectful way. We will definitely use Waterguard Plumbing for our plumbing needs in future and wont hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.
