Basement Waterproofing, Sewer Line Replacement, Sink Reworks, Toilet Install
We initially called Mike to scope the sewer line in our new house and to address a few other issues, and were curious about his take on a water intrusion issue in our basement. We found him to be very thoughtful and measured in his approach, and he helped us understand different aspects of each issue to consider while deciding which way to go. The pricing for waterproofing he quoted was competitive with other quotes we'd received. With that, and the confidence Mike inspired, we decided to bring on Waterguard for all of the jobs.
The work ended up being a pretty massive undertaking, and we felt Waterguard approached it very well - sending appropriately sized crews each day, logically working around challenges that arose, talking through each step and consulting with us on how to proceed. Igor, Sasha, and Vasyl all communicated thoroughly and managed the work well.
Mike was reasonable with pricing, reflecting the amount of work they were doing in the quote. Once the work started, the sewer line needed to be completely replaced, and while the initial quote couldn't take into account the entire line (as broken pipe blocked the camera from going further than a few feet), Mike adjusted the pricing-per-foot once it became clear the full amount of pipe that needed to be replaced.
The work was thorough and professional, and they went the extra mile on several improvements that were not part of what we hired them to do, but were bonuses that they elected to do to make sure they were leaving the basement plumbing set up in the best way it could be. All of this left us feeling like we were in good hands.
