Called FirstAid to help with an LE error on my LG washer. When the guy came, he was not very polite, assessed our machine and told us it would be $800.00 to repair and at best a 3 month wait for parts. We were agast at the price (for that we could buy a brand new one) and the timing. We ended up calling LG directly who were confused at the timing and price and they referred us to an authorized LG service company who told us that our washer was still under warranty (10 years for motor) and that LG has a flat price repair of $150.00 and it should be fixed within 48 hours. FirstAid may say they repair LG, but they are not knowledgeable of LG programs / warranties and they don't even get the parts from LG Canada, they have to source them in the USA which is why the 3 month wait. Also, the diagnosis of what was wrong with our LG washer was completely wrong (they said it was bearings and hall sensor) and it was actually the mother board. So had we used them, we would have paid $800 only to wait for another part for another 3 months. I would not recommend them at all.
