Complete Exteriors

Unfortunately, I try to deal with complete exterior inc. As another consumer, I had a very bad experience with this company. The trick they use is very simple and we all know it, they simply ask for a large amount of deposit so you will be bound to them. The owner convinces me that he is an honest hard-working person which operates ~12 full-time staff. However, I only saw 5 workers in total. He asks for ~45% of the total project as a deposit so he can order the materials, then he starts me you with project start date, in my case we have time frame which he never starts the project. but he did hold my deposit, and never return the balance need. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND.

Bruce did the siding and soffit at my house a year ago. Since then the soffit has flown off twice. When we approached Bruce about it he said it was due to the environment of where our house is located. We even believed him and paid for more expensive material for him to fix it but he kept putting us off because our job wasn’t expensive enough. Since then we had to get the soffit replaced at our cost. When the new metal guy was here he informed us our siding didn’t have drip pans on the windows, the siding is installed short and a few other problem. We decided to leave Bruce a fair review at which point he threatened to sue me if I didn’t take it down. Finically he decides to come “fix” the issue if I remove the reviews to which I agreed. Since I left my last review Bruce decided to come and rip up all the siding from the house. Once that was done we saw that the house was never wrapped before installation and my house has been sitting that way for over a year. However about 1/2 way through putting the siding back on Bruce simply stopped coming to site. My house now is in worse shape then ever before. There has been no cladding on my house for weeks and Bruce keeps telling me he will come with a crew. Yet when I check with the crew directly they tell me they have no idea about coming to my house. This is the type of contractor Bruce is. We have no choice but to try to take legal action. BE AWARE!!

EDIT: upon this review Bruce called me and told me he will no longer fix my house because I posted a bad review. After taking down all the siding he now refuses to put it all back leaving my house without cladding for weeks on end.

Bruce's team removed my old deck and built my new deck quickly and professionally! Their commitment to quality shows in their craftsmanship and I now have a beautiful maintenance free deck to enjoy this summer! Thank you from the Roys!

We selected Complete Exteriors to do a longboard siding renovation for our hair salon. At the time there weren't many installers of this product in the GTA. Another challenge is that the sole manufacturer and distributor is in British Columbia which can cause delays in delivery for a project on a tight timeline. Nonetheless, Bruce & Co. delivered a fantastic result. We love it and we have received great feedback from our clients. I have included the before and after pictures for you to judge for yourself.

We built a major addition onto our home and needed exteriors siding (maibec) and posts completed. We decided to hire complete exteriors based on reviews and an initial meeting.

The siding install was fantastic and on budget, Bruce is a good guy and made sure we were happy.

When we continued forward with the exterior posts, a few months after completion of the siding is when we ran into a few hiccups.

We ordered the siding ourselves through Lowe's and had our original PM do a take off on quality needed. Bruce convinces us to order post and porch ceilings materials (maibec) through him.

We had to go through 3 months of some ups and downs as the quantities and sizes were incorrect at first and this caused us some stress and frustration.

HOWEVER..... After adding such a substantial addition to our home and nearly a full gut, we learned quickly that most contractors and trades and not exactly honest and timely !!

Even though Bruce made mistakes along the way, he was a man of his word (hard to find) and stuck with us until the project was completed.

I would recommend Complete Exteriors but would ensure the measurements and quantities are double checked before proceeding.

We had 1 transaction with complete exteriors and the last. They took a deposit and told me they would order material and do the work in 6 weeks. They never showed up and to us about ordering the material. I went to the supplier and found out they never ordered the materials that take 4 weeks to get. Bruce is always making up stories. We found out we weren’t the first people he has done this too. We finally got back our deposit after a year of Bruce playing games. I would never recommend complete exteriors to anyone. Bruce is a great guy to deal with and his installers are excellent. Bruce is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. The project was for the owner of our company and they did a great job. Everyone is very happy. It was a pleasure to deal with Complete Exteriors and I hope to work with them again soon.

Started a 70K renovation and needed help with the bigger tasks. Hired Complete Exteriors and got amazing results. Work included interior trim, Exterior trim, porch, surround decking, and loft balcony. When problems were encountered like roof issues and bad wiring, Complete Exteriors quickly arranged sub-trades to resolve and stay on schedule. Very satisfied and highly rcommend. Thanks!

Bruce, Jeff, Troy & Brandon were a good team. They completed the Hardie siding, raised panel MDF and black aluminum soffit & fascia on our home and cabana. They have a strong attention to detail and take pride in their workmanship. Jeff has the experience and the eye that helped us make decisions throughout the reno. We were kept apprised if they were not coming to the site due to poor weather. They were all friendly, courteous and professional. They cleaned up the worksite at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend Complete Exteriors.

called Bruce about siding my new addition. he was early for the appointment, didn't make me wait, and came back with the quote less than 3 days later.
quote was more than acceptable so we went ahead. he informed us as soon as the materials were available, and sent the crew in to do the job. they did fantastic work and other than a bit of a delay due to an additional supplier shortage, the work was done very quickly.
we are very happy with the job done and will be rehiring Bruce and his company when we do the rest of our house.
