AJ Painting

My partner introduced me to Jack, as he had used him with great results. I was happy with Jack's work at my former residence (interior and exterior painting), so naturally I thought of Jack first for our new home. Jack did good job in the primary rooms of the three floors. Jack assured he would and could paint the entire house within the alotted time. Jack's broad work is good, however he lacks in attention to detail. As I walk throughout the rooms of my Home. I can't help but notice sloppy workmanship; single paint coats with previous paint colour bleeding through (did he use primer?), trim paint on wall and tile, wall paint splats on furnishings, quarter round and baseboards in need of a second coat. It's significant enough to bother me. Jack boasted of his ability to paint a straight line without the use of frog tape. He should consider the latter as the paint bled on the trim and his lines aren't consistent. While Jack did come back to re-paint and fix some issues, I got the sense Jack just wanted to do the bare minimum and leave. Very recently we needed more paint (same colour as previously used) for a small patch. With Jack's paint can in hand, our local Benjamin Moore retailer advised the paint colour ( supplied by Jack) was altered. I've since hired another painter to re-do some of Jack's work. Jack did not exceed my expectations.

Very disappointing. While Jack's broad painting is good, ours was not the best experience.

Jack takes his work seriously and he takes reviews personally. Bottom line: once Jack realized there was a problem, he came immediately. Great service, great work Jack, thank you! Yes, I'd recommend Jack.
