Wonder Woods was recommended to me as the #1 hardwood company by Sucee the Floor Master in Oshawa.

Nov 2015 they installed hardwood throughout my main level including kitchen, 2pc bath, entrance hall w/closet, living & dining rooms, 24 stairs and 2 landings.

I had searched for many months and was worried if id be able to find what I want within budget. Thales had exactly what I wanted (within budget!) and I couldn't ne happier.

Wonder Woods completely removed and installed new engineered wood flooring on our second floor of four bedrooms and the stairs. They also installed rod iron pickets. It looks great. They did a wonderful job in a very timely manner.

Contacted Thales for a quote to install new hardwood floors on the second floor of our house and install new treads and risers on our staircase. He was very response and easy to deal with from quoting and eventually doing the work. He installed brushed wire hardwood floors in three bedrooms, all the closets and hallway. There was minimal damage to the existing baseboards but that was expected when the existing quarter round was being replaced. I recommend his services.

Overall we are satisfied with the work that Thales and his team did. We had about 1100 sq ft of carpet and a bit of hardwood and parquet flooring replaced on the main and second floors, and two sets of carpeted stairs replaced. We got a few quotes and went with Wonder Woods because Thales offered the beautiful engineered hardwood we were looking for, a reasonable price, and was also responsive, provided a reference from our Unionville neighbourhood, and had good reviews here. His team was able to get the job done in about two weeks before we moved into our house. We got 7 inch wide engineered hardwood flooring in our living room, dining room, three upstairs bedrooms, hallway, and stair ledges. For the stairs, we got new white risers, new treads and posts stained to match the floor, pickets and stringer painted white, and handrails sanded and stained. We had an issue with some of the stair pickets that Thales was able to address promptly to our satisfaction. They were also able to eliminate a squeaky floor in a room. Thales was responsive during the job and Michael, the installer, came back about two months later to fix another section of our floor that became squeaky (we were told the noise was a result of the way the walls were built). We also had two unlevel planks (we were told due to the subfloor) but overall not a big issue that they could not be fixed. Thales left us some stain that we used to re-stain our fireplace shelf to better match our new floors, as well as some white paint for future touch ups. We were also looking for a professional painter, and Thales referred one to us that got the job done well within a reasonable price. The new floors, stairs and paint have transformed a dated house into a beautiful home.

Thales was the first of four companies contacted to respond, the first to be able to meet on site, the first with a quote and the first availability to start. Carpets ripped out and 950 sq feet of pre-finished flooring laid, and existing hardwood buffed and varnished in 3-4 days. Great for us.

From beginning to end, Thales was prompt and professional. Within 2 days of contact, he made arrangements to come by and give us a quote. From there, he worked with our schedules to get to us as soon as possible. The job was done with care and quality, while working at a good pace to get it done. Our home dates to 1922 and Thales brought our floors to a classic yet contemporary and new look. Our staircase required some new additions, and they look beautiful while still fitting in with the character of the older and restored wood. Thales and Thomas were a pleasure to deal with as well, and we will certainly contact Thales again when we proceed with working on our main floor.

Had to remove carpeting, tint and finish the hardwood floors (living / dining / landings and stairs). Wonder Woods Flooring quote was very reasonable and the work was completed on time - to our satisfaction. Thales shared his expertise on what needed to be done to match the existing wooden flooring on second floor. He and his team took on additional work to put finishing touches which we had not identified earlier. A good team you can trust to get the job done.

This was our first time getting renovations done by an outside company as we usually try to do it ourselves. We had a very smooth experience with Wonder Woods from beginning to end. They got back to us right away, came and gave us a very reasonable quote. Within a couple of weeks they came on the days we were available and took away old floor and were very fast laying the flooring down. It's exactly what I wanted and was very pleased with the outcome. Have nothing bad to say about them, I would highly recommend them to others.
