Classic Carpet

George was a pleasure to deal with beginning to end. I got at least 10 quotes and George beat them all in both price and customer service. I highly recommend him, you won’t regret it. Here is a highlight of why George was awesome:

-He responded quickly to texts and phone calls
-He doesn’t have a store front so is able to save costs and offer cheaper prices
-He came over with sample boards and clearly explained the different types of carpets, underpad and prices
-When I needed more time to decide and compare to paint in bedrooms, George patiently waited in his truck while our family took time to make a final decision
-His price was by far the most cheapest for the same Mohawk carpet (Mohawk is a top brand, not a no-name Chinese carpet)
-We ended up picking a very high end heavy carpet and George was honest about the time it would take to ship in. He also followed up promptly when materials had arrived.
-We had 4 bedrooms plus basement to install and George allowed us to do it over 2 days so we can move furniture around (no extra cost)
-When George came to install, he worked with us in cooperation to allow us to fix squeaks in sub floor. He would remove carpet in one room, give us time to screw down the subfloor and fix squeaks, then would install carpet. There was one squeak in master bedroom I just couldn’t get rid of and George helped us fix it! Again, no extra charge.
-I advised George that we would be installing hardwood floor in the hallway so he gave us great transition advice. He overhung the carpet when installing, told me to ask my hardwood contractor to finish flooring until bottom of each door. 4 weeks later when we finished the flooring install, George came back at no charge to finish the carpet up to new floors. Again, no extra charge and he saved us from having to use ugly t-moulding or transition strips in each bedroom! We also ended up having a small leak in basement so I pulled up that carpet to dry. George was kind enough to refinish it fo no extra charge since he was already over (and he didn’t even instal that carpet).

Overall, George is an honest, soft spoken and kind carpet contractor. He is trustworthy. His prices are not only reasonable, they were the cheapest of my quotes for high quality Mohawk carpet. He did a clean instal and went out of his way to give us advice on how to finish the carpet based on our hardwood floor instal. Other contractors would have just came, installed and left not caring that we use transition strips. George gave us the advice, left the carpet overhung and came back 4 weeks later when we were ready to finish the carpets beautifully to the hardwood (and at no extra charge).
