Chris did an inspection on the house I planned to purchase. During the four hours' hard work, Chris unearthed most major and minor problems of the house.

The inspection report is prompt, professional and full of useful information. After reading the report, I got to know the place from inside out and had a good idea of how to maintain the house in the future. That is so useful.

His excellent service does not end with the delivery of report. He even follows up with you for any question about the report and the place. That felt so nice.

Chris was early to the site and had already started looking at the roof by the time we came by. He immediately told me of things needing attention, how long others could last before rework, and any other constraints that may lead to earlier work needing to be done. Throughout the inspection his past as a designer allowed him to provide extra insight and recommendations on thing we can do. I am thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, timeliness, commitment to work, and would recommend him to anyone who needs home inspections done. I recommended him to my dad for his home inspection, and Chris did it in the same day!

It was a pleasure to see Chris' report and his work, and is comforting to know someone is doing the job with the utmost care in mind for the skeptical buyer. I will have to take him up on his consultation before our completion date when questions arise; I am sure he will have the answers.

Chris took us on a very short notice and helped us decide on the property we were about to purchase. He let me tag along and the inspection was educational for me. I was referred to Haystack Home Inspection by a work colleague. We are buying a brand new build and was told by numerous people that since it was a new build we wouldn't need a home inspection. I needed a reliable inspector in short order and I'm glad I stumble upon Chris. Unlike other inspectors that I contacted who focused mainly on giving me a quote, Chris took time to understand my scenario & primary concerns of the condo needing inspection.
