Chris did a pre-purchase inspection on a condo. The unit had been rented, and had some noticeable wear and tear. I was concerned about the potential for other issues that may not have been visible to me or my realtor. Chris did the inspection and uncovered a handful of other things that I had not noticed, and provided a very thorough debrief session in addition to the detailed report. I really appreciated his willingness to explain things to me, and to take the time to point out things during the inspection. He also gave guidance on the repairs in terms of who best to undertake the work and if the issue was relatively routine. What also stood out was his willingness to answer questions after his work was complete and he had already been paid. I ended up purchasing the unit, and definitely felt that the inspection helped me know understand how much to set aside for repairs and helped me 'know what I was getting into'.
