Haystack Home Inspections

We needed a home inspection on short notice and our realtors highly recommended Chris from Haystack Home Inspections. Chris was more than willing to complete an inspection for us with only a few hours notice (on a long weekend, no less)! Very kind of him to squeeze us in.

The inspection itself was impeccable and very thorough. At the end, Chris provided an excellent summary of his findings, starting with major/deal-breaker items. After that, Chris walked us from room to room and went through all of the minor issues with the property. Later in the day Chris sent us a report that provides a written summary of the inspection. This report was packed with pictures, which is definitely a strength of Chris’s work.

Perhaps most importantly is that we really got the sense that Chris was sincerely concerned with helping us make a correct and informed decision about the property we were considering. Chris was more than happy to talk further about the inspection when we called him a couple days later to ask a few more questions. The cherry on top was when Chris sent us an email to check in and see if we had ended up purchasing the place. The fact that Chris remembered when we were making our offer and was willing to take time out of his day to check in to see how things had went really spoke volumes about how considerate and thoughtful he is.
