Hendrik did an excellent job with respect to a whole home inspection he did ahead of my two year Tarion warranty. Hendrik went above and beyond in terms of all the checks he did, as well as provided additional information/research on specific items (e.g., plumbing). Overall an excellent job and thorough inspection. The digital report with photos was also really well done and easy to read. Hendrik has a wealth of knowledge and experience - highly reccomend his services.

He is a professional, thorough, knowledgable and very pleasant person! It was very easy to make an appointment with him. He was punctual, he did a detailed assessment of my apartment ( inside, outside, garage ) and provided me with a report. This is the second time I have asked Hendrik, from A to Z Home Inspections, to conduct a home inspection on a house I've bought. Just like the first time (almost 10 years ago), Hendrik has proven to be superior to any other "regular" home inspection I've seen. During his 3-4 hours, he very meticulously goes through the entire house (exterior, interior and every nook and cranny). After every step, he sits down with you and shows you every photo taken while writing his detailed notes. He explains exactly what issues he came across and how this can affect you as a home owner. It isn't all negative though, as he also mentions any "wow factors" that he saw and how this can benefit you. His professionalism is on point!

His report includes photos and videos with captions and recommendations for future actions. Not only is the report detailed, well-organized and well-illustrated, but it is delivered in a timely fashion and written in a way that it is easy and clear for the reader to understand.

Hendrik was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and gave me a report that was beyond what I expected. He knows where to look to find possible issues and explained the different construction techniques so that future maintenance could be planned. Can't say enough good things!

Hendrik took pictures, recorded some videos and explained everything he was doing. He took shots of the roof (3 storey building), verify the attic and made sure to informe me about any concerns he'd have.

WOW what service, the best inspection I've received. Very detailed, the report was custom, he provided lots of explanations, and gave me the report very fast! He was also cheaper then my last inspector and I can contact him anytime to ask him questions, which makes me and my wife feel at ease.
The last home inspector just had those generic tick sheets and the pictures were a "big deal" and were not even sent unless requested. He was also $100 more expensive, so based on my experience I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hendrick! You will not be disappointed!

Hendrik guided us through a thorough 3 hour inspection and identified a few issues including a defective HRV unit, a loose (and dangerous) Attic Hatch, and a deteriorating foundation platton that needed some maintenance (and more). Afterwords we received a Handwritten report and within a few hours a completed comprehensive PDF report by email. As a 1st time home buyer we were pleased with Hendrik's ability to explain the different home systems as we went through the home. We would definitely refer him to our friends and family!
