I am really disappointed with the carpet cleaning and the service I received. When I booked the carpet cleaning no one explained to me what I should do to prepare for it. When I called after to expressy disappointement, the manager on the phone was almost telling me it was my fault and he basically didn't care. I'm in the real estate and rental business and I will never recommend steam dry canada to any one.

I’m sorry you feel this way. As explained to you on the phone when we spoke, our wand (tool used to clean carpet) does not have a beater bar on it like a vacuum cleaner does and as a result is not very effective in the removal of pet hair from carpets. This is why we kindly ask our clients in preparation for their carpet service to please vacuum prior to our arrival (as stated on our web site).
As far as the odour is concerned, this is typical of homes that had pets in them previously. The sanitization treatment can be requested, but comes with an additional cost to it. This is not a service that our technicians would provide without the request of the client. We would have gladly performed this service if it was requested and I’m very sorry our technician did not reach out to you to offer this additional service, I can assure that this is not the norm (as was the case with the home we serviced for you at the saddlecrest location), but in some cases our techs feel more comfortable in selling additional services if the client is actually present.
We serviced 1 other home for you that day, and another the following week without incident. I truly believe that this was an isolated incident and an unfortunate case of miscommunication.
