Plumbing review in

Totally unreasonable bill !
Change water main to ball valve, weekday around noon, no emergency call. Was told it would take about 1/2 hour, took about 45 min. and the bill came to $385. Cost of valve $25. Home star rating gave me a false sense of trust.

Hi sorry you feel the cost was to much. My plumber had to go to the supplier to pick up a 1" ball valve. The job itself was 45 minute but you are not calculating our time to pick a valve that you could of mentioned was bigger than the usual size. Time is money and at that price with the trip to supplier and back are not factored in. Thanks Mike
