General Gas Service

We had a gas leak in our supply line and the heating was shut off. It was mid-winter and we have two small kids. Keith returned our call right away, was able to come the same day, and did a fantastic job fixing the leak! He explained his process, and double checked the entire supply line and furnace to make sure everything was in tip top order. He even helped us change our furnace filter over. We have heat for the holidays and Keith to thank! Highly recommend.

Keith was prompt and efficient, and worked around the dryer delivery schedule. Once it arrived, he was there within 45 minutes, installed a flexible hose connector (included in price) and checked the various connections for any signs of gas leaks or other trouble.

Once the gas line was connected to the dryer, he re-connected the ductwork and put the dryer back into place.

Enbridge had discovered a minor gas leak in one of our rental units. I called Keith and he was able to fit me in the same day, as my tenant was without heat/hot water. Keith inspected all pipes and found another leak that Enbridge had completely missed. Keith was professional, punctual and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Keith came before we went to purchase a stove and gave us an estimate on installing a gas line. When we decided our purchase, we called him and was here 1hr before the stove arrived, working away on the installation. He had the stove up and running within the hour after. The whole thing lasted less than 2hrs. He was very informative and even gave us a lesson on how to take care of our gas appliance. As soon as I ordered a new gas dryer, I called General Gas to get a quote for the installation. Keith came over the same day and provided a quote. He then made himself available when the dryer was to be delivered and, after a few delivery challenges, got the dryer installed which included running new gas line and replacing the dryer vent. While he was there, I asked about a furnace service and he did that as well. Excellent service!

We discovered a minor gas leak in old basement piping Sunday eve and had all our gas service shut down by Enbridge. I sent some emails last night and heard from Keith at General Gas Service shortly after 8am on Monday. He worked with my schedule and arrived, fixed the leak and was done again by 11:15am, but not before giving me a valuable orientation on some aspects of our gas infrastructure. He didn't try to upsell us on ANYTHING. He was delightful to work with and we will use him again should we need anything gas/furnace related, no question.
