Home inspection before purchase.
The inspector came out and did a quick inspection but I feel like it was just a cash grab. Since moving in I have lived there for 3 months, and I have had to replace almost every appliance in the home due to a failure of some sort ( washing machine was broken as the tub balance ring and all the springs were worn beyond repair. It struck the metal cabinet during the spin cycle the first time we tried to use it ) the stove oven controls were broken and you could not adjust bake temp above 350, the fridge had a condensation issue and leaked all over the hardwood underneath it, causing severe damage to the floors which also now need to be replaced.
There are major plumbing issues with both washrooms upstairs having inadequate venting. When you flush one toilet it drains the other of water in the bowl.
There is severe water hammer and loose pipes in the wall in the entrance way. Whenever the outside tap is turned on the House sounds like it’s about to fall down.
The inspection didn’t catch any of these issues at all. No mention of them on the report. Just a couple pictures with a flir camera and they were in and out.
Also they say on their site they will lend you a trailer. I tried to take advantage of this on two separate occasions but was told both times the trailer was full of their storage and was not available to me.
A complete waste of time and money in my opinion. I would absolutely not recommend them.

Firstly in our report we have pictures of all the appliances in operation and working just fine. We also note down we cannot guarantee not can anyone guarantee how long a appliance will last.
We have noted down 6 plumbing issues in the home. The toilets flushed fine when we were there. Also there was no sign of water hammer in a newer home like yours.
As for the trailer is concerned. You called the one time and yes it was being utilized. I told you that you need to call ahead and book in with reasonable notice. We never heard from you again.
