We brought 2 rugs to Joe - one that was a basic carpet and one silk Persian rug. He immediately demonstrated incredible knowledge about the silk rug, including region, meaning of inscriptions, and value (the last bit was a nice surprise - like being on the Antique Road Show!). More importantly, Joe described how he was going to clean and repair the silk rug, including incredible craftsmanship for the silk fringes. We got the rugs back and they both looked like new. The silk rug was a marvel - the fringes matched the existing silk fringes exactly and the reinforced edges mean that this family heirloom will last. Totally thrilled with the service - great quality at a competitive price.
