Dr. Foam Insulation Ltd

I contacted three insulation companies. Dr. Foam came and did a quote for me. They were on time, and very professional. I dealt with Doug. The quote was for a top up to R50 for the house we just bought two months ago. It had about 8" of original insulation in some parts and none in others. As it turns out, they did the job the same day as the quote as they had a cancellation. We couldn't be happier. The cold spots in the house are now gone. The temperature feels a lot more even throughout the house. We definitely notice a difference. I would recommend them to anyone. Very professional, good quality work, and excellent clean up afterwards. A+++

I had Dr. Foam come in after reading the reviews. I must say these reviews must of been done by family members. I had Tim and his crew come in and insulate my attic. Unfortunately I had mold growing on the bedroom ceiling and called Dr. Foam. Tim is no where to be found nor his crew. Dr. Foam has no idea right!. where or who did the job. Anyways the issue seems that the attic is to low for them to get right to the edge and see if the seal is damaged. My question to this day is if you couldn't check for air leaks or any damage why would you have taken the job. No reply LOL.
That is there job to make sure everything is OK before they blow in the insulation. Now they want between $400 to $600 dollars more and there is no guarantee the job would fix the issue. Be warned they don't stand behind their work.

I contacted Dr. Foam in order to have my basement soundproofed. I work from home and needed to cut down the transfer of sound. I was worried that the walls and ceilings were already finished and Tim assured me that would not be an issue. I received my quote within a day or two and then scheduled them for the work. They were on time, efficient and clean! The job was done perfectly and I could not be happier with the results. I would use them again and refer anyone I know to them. This is the first winter in this home. We noticed a section of heat loss that was mysterious. We contacted Tim at Dr. Foam because they did great work for us before. A previous fireplace chimney that now seemed like an elevator shaft was filled with loose insulation. Problem solved!! Thanks Tim.
