The Urban Painter

In 2013, we had our entire house repiped and the process left several holes in drywall and ceilings. The painter from Urban Painter came in, repaired all of that damage as well as some previous water damage to a ceiling, and then he repainted all of the repaired surfaces. The work was completed on time, and the painter cleaned everything up to perfection. To this day, we can't see where the repairs were done. This company did their very best to work with our very restricted timetable, and the work was impeccable.

We really enjoy working with the urban painter. They are very consistent and trustworthy. This is the 3rd time we have selected them for a project at our home. Cabinet that were old needed repaint and they sprayed them, and it turned out amazing. It like we got a whole new kitchen for a faction of the cost. They also covered and protected the floor and furniture really well with drop cloths and plastic, and even cleaned up the mess when they were finished working. They final invoice was the price we agreed and not a penny more. Great work to the guys at urban paint!

I found Urban Painter a couple of years ago and had them completely strip and paint the front balcony of my house. They did a great job, so I had them back for an interior paint job before selling the same house this year.

Last month I needed to do an update to my rental condo once my tenant moved out. Jon came out to provide a quote and was a big help with my planning. He had an interior decorator help me with paint colours and connected me with an excellent contractor to do the reno work. We had first hired Urban Painter to touch up some of the trim work in our home. They scraped, prepared and painted the window frames and baseboards. It was a big job and they took their time to prepare for the paint rather than just throwing paint on top of the original problem. We were very pleased. As a result we inquired whether they had the expertise to paint kitchen cabinets. A job we were dreading due to the mess and the inconvenience we were imagining. Again, we were more than pleased with the final product.

We had a great experience when The Urban Painter painted the interior of the first floor of our house and part of the second floor.

Part of the job was the removal of wallpaper in some areas. The painting was flawless, which was especially impressive on the surfaces that had been wallpapered for decades.

The estimate was reasonable. As the job progressed they encountered a couple of areas where more coats of paint were required due to the dark paint colour being covered, and because of a couple of surfaces needed to be painted that I had not identified when the estimate was prepared. They kept us apprised of the changes to the price and secured our approval before proceeding. So the bill contained no surprises.

We also found them timely, arriving on time every day and completing the job in a reasonable time. They were pleasant to deal with and also cleaned up the work sites at the end of each day.

We couldn't be happier with the painting they did . The very friendly and courteous crew showed up on time everyday and before any work was started they reviewed the details with us. At the end of each day the paint supplies were neatly stored away and all dust etc. was vacuumed up before they left. On the final day a walk through was done to ensure we were happy with the work completed.

The process from the estimate, to the crew doing the job were highly train professionals who knew what they were doing and how to do the job for maximum result. To ensure that the completion date would be met, they brought in part of a second crew to ensure they met the promised completion date. I have no reservation in recommending the Urban Painter for your painting project.
