After calling about 10 different roofing companies and getting quotes from about 7 we decided on Heritage Roofing, Jeff the owner puts you at ease by confidently answering any questions or concerns. The pricing estimate was comparable to a couple other companies and the rest were just out to take your money. Jeff was honest and stood by his word about when the job would be completed, they delivered the shingles a day before the job not leaving them to sit for a week or 2 like some other contractors. They offer a 15 year labour warranty so anything goes wrong in that time frame they fix it for free other contractors only offer 10 years. The job was done well over 2 days by a hard working crew with a couple minor issues that were fixed by Jeff, 2 nail heads had to be caulked and clean up could have been a little more thorough. That aside I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to go with them again. Give him a call you will see what a mean.

Called Jeff as my cottage needed a new roof. Jeff came as promised and performed an estimate. I requested some additional work for the roof and had a bunch of questions regarding the ventilation of the roof. Jeff was patient and accommodating in answering all of my questions.

When the day came to do the roof, Jeff and his crew were professional, courteous, and left the job site clean. The roof was installed to a very high standard. I would point out that Jeff and his crew also used more nails than standard to put the shingles on to help ensure that the shingles would not blow off in high winds. This was actually not part of the written quote - just something that Heritage Roofing did as part of their standard installation.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff and Heritage Roofing.

Do not use this company. If it goes wrong, they will not be back to fix it. My new roof leaks not only in the same place as it did before, but in a whole new area now.

My Mum and Dad just recently purchased a lakefront property on the north side of Lake Scugog and the roof was beyond repair. After 3 calls to different companies and one gentleman who laughed his way out of some business when he heard my parents may get more than one quote (he never came back with a quote) like most people do, I got hold of Jeff's number, left a message and he called back next day. He was out with in a couple of days and provided a quote by the end of that same day to which my mum and dad felt very pleased with. They decided on getting no more quotes as they felt Jeff was a very personable and knowledge gentleman that ''new his stuff'' and were comfortable with him and his crew doing the job. He kept in contact over the next couple of weeks and stuck to his time frames. Job was completed to my parents and myself total satisfaction.I have no problem recommending a quick and efficient company such as this. These guys took on some gruesome winds and rain up there and still pulled off a perfect job. Thanks guys. Mum and Dad are chuffed :)

Contacted Heritage Roofing regarding a re-roof at our cottage. Jeff got back to me the same day and within 24 hours I had a detailed quote by email. The cost was what I expected and a week later, we had a high quality new roof, built to code. Jeff is a pleasure to deal with and a special mention goes out to Luke, the hard working young roofer who did such a great job. I highly recommend this company.

Emailed Jeff at Heritage Roofing for a estimate and he showed up that day to to do a quote, i phoned at least 3 others and Jeff was the only one who returned my call, he emailed the estimate the same day and gave me samples of the latest style of shingles, they were BP Everest. Because we were low on funds at the time we decided to wait, well a year passed and the ceiling started a leak, called Heritage and Jeff told me he would honor the quote he gave me a year before!! We thought was just awesome!! Within 3 days of the call to have the work done we had a new roof, he also installed more vents to keep up with the new Code. We were extremely happy with his crew and the work they did, Jeff is a very busy man yet he took the time to chat and make sure we were satisfied before leaving. I highly recommend Heritage Roofing.

I had a roof put on by Heritage Roofing Peterborough a year ago. Was told there would be proper ventilation but none was installed. When I tried to have this corrected I was laughed at. I was even willing to pay more to have ventilation installed. The owner is nowhere to be found, his email address no longer works. This company is not legitimate. Beware. Ask around and save yourself a headache and a roof that won't last more then a few years due to overheating and destroyes shingles. Be warned!
