After running into troubles with another countertop company doubling their quote post-deposit, we backed out and headed to Home Depot to get the job done fast. Enter Mega Counter Strike. The person who attended our building asked all the questions that the other company hadn't, informed me of any issues they felt were likely to occur and discussed with me beforehand ways to deal with those issues. After accepting the quote that Home Depot then provided, Mega Counter Strike called to schedule right away, did the job in a very timely manner (which I needed as the project had already been delayed by a month thanks to the earlier company!), and when I actually saw the counters I was absolutely amazed. They were exactly what we discussed, the one post-install aesthetic issue that he believed our handyman would need to resolve was indeed there and I was prepared thanks to their pre-quote discussion with me, and I wasn't left with any surprises. Despite the contract stating we needed to move the appliances ourselves, the person who attended actually moved the heavy-as-all fridge back into place, which as a person standing at only 5'1 meant a great deal to me.
Being an apartment building, I will have many counters that will need replacing over the years, and I do believe that I will be approaching this company first when the next replacement comes up.
