Handyman Bob

Hired Bob to do small jobs around the house as I’m very busy working two jobs . Initial conversation and quote was good ,so we went ahead with Bob . He requested half the money up front and rest after . Bob quickly came and picked up the money and literally disappeared. After two weeks finally pick up the phone and explain that he got in the car accident and that’s why he wasn’t answering ok no problem. Another 3 week went by and when I asked for my money back Bob said he will be coming to do the job
. He actually showed up and did some things we asked him to do , but wasn’t able to finish all in one day ( it’s about 2 day job ) . Bob disappeared again for about 10 days after many times trying to reach him he answered and promised to be back and finish
the job . Bob would come at the end of his busy day
and try to do something for one hour . After one
month we asked him to leave and don’t come back anymore. All the work that he is done was very poor
quality and if you don’t ask him to try to do it
properly he will just leave it as is it’s good. We asked
him to return part of our deposit and he refused. It
took me just 2 days to complete and fix bobs
imperfections. Something that was taking him
months to do . I will attach pictures for everyone to
see some of the jobs he left as of it’s good complete
job decide for yourself.

We have a cedar sided home with a cathedral ceiling in front and a 2nd story in back. My wife & I painted most of the outside of the house ourselves but did not have the ladders/experience/courage to paint the trim at the highest points or the highest cedar beams extending out under the roof. We needed a handyman who was willing just to paint these difficult areas at a reasonable cost. Our friends recommended Bob who had done work for them so we contacted him. Bob came over that day and quoted us a very reasonable price (we supplied the paint). A few days later he came over and did the painting as well as touching up spots we had missed. He was happy to provide advice for dealing leaks and rot in our wooden flat roofed garage which I am repairing.
Bob guarantees his work 100% and I would absolutely recommend him just as our friends recommended him to us..
