Working with Gabriele was an absolutely incredible experience! We are a busy family of 6 and without GPD, our upper floor renovation would not have happened. Gabriele and her team listened to what we wanted, took the time to understand our style and designed several spaces that are just stunning! Not only did Gabriele present floor plans, fabric selections and furniture options that were right on point, but she was extremely well organized and paid attention to all the details. This allowed us to make decisions very easily. As a designer, her work speaks for itself -- the finished products are absolutely beautiful! In addition, Gabrieles personality, honesty and responsiveness to our questions made working with her a real pleasure! We would highly recommend working with Gabriele and her team and wouldnt hesitate to use them again (in fact, weve already started working on our main floor renovation)!

I don't even know where to begin. We read some great reviews about Gabriela online and she came into our new condo demonstrating potential. However the outcome was so unbelievably stressful I feel like we should have done it ourselves. The list of issues with Gabriela's work is too long to mention everything. To give you an idea how completely incompetent she is she instructed her contractor to move our dining room light into our ceiling coffer and not even centre over our table. So now we have a patch put in our coffered ceiling. The worst part about this is we told her not to have the light installed in the coffer and she did it anyways. Even the simplest of tasks were not done correctly. Our art work we have on the wall behind our sofa is not even hunt centred. The art she hung in our bathroom isn't hung high enough and rests over the base of our towel rack. We ordered chairs from her designer supplier and they were suppose to have a grey stained wood trim and she delivered them in mocha brown and refused to correct the issue.

She will tell you she is going to get you her designer discounts but that's all a farce. She won't even produce receipts for what you buy because she is actually charging a profit on top of the supplier prices. When you ask her to deal with the many many issues she causes she will wash her hands of you and leave you at a financial loss.

If I had to do this all over again I wouldn't let this woman decorate my cat's litter box.

Master Bedroom re-do was beautiful. She's skilled at colour choices. Where she falls short is in the details. Our pillow shams were missing an entire section of contrast fabric. She fixed the problem, sent it back BUT at our cost. But the outcome was beautiful so I didn't mind. 5 yrs later when the window sheers started to shred for no reason, she GRUDGINGLY agreed to obtain us more fabric. She made it clear that she was tooo busy for this (after having been her clients since 1999!). When I spoke to the manufacturer as to what I could do to prevent this from happening again, they advised that this fabric's composition makes it unsuitable for areas that have a lot of sun exposure. The fabric will disintegrate. Why didn't Gabriele, the expert, know this & give us different fabric to choose from? Then when the other window panel started to disintegrate 6 months later, she misled us & said the manufacturer no longer had fabric. I contacted them myself & found out there were 30 yards left. When I told her this, she said she could order it but we needed to buy 18 yards @ her marked up price. I had my very experienced seamstress measure out my panels & she only needed 11 yards. So after all the nonsense with this designer, I bought direct from the manufacturer, got 30% off the msrp,$300. & labour only cost me $140.!! She was charging $750.! For all of these reasons, we could never recommend her.
