Electroguy

Dax first responded to my request to repoint my existing OTA TV antenna, a DB8. This antenna had been in place for about six years, but in the Fall of 2020 we started getting lower quality reception, which I attributed to the antenna having come out of alignment due to high winds.

On his first visit the antenna was manipulated for some minor enhancements, but after a few days it was apparent that there was no meaningful improvement.

Dax returned and offered to repoint my antenna again and also tried his two "go to" antennas to determine which offered the best reception.

In the end one of his antennas was the right choice and I'm very happy with the results, and have upgraded my antenna to one that he offers (it also has a much smaller footprint on my roof).

It took us a while to get there, but we're back to getting 39 channels. We have lost signal to one we used to get, but it appears that's a function of the origin of the signal, and not the antenna - such is life.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dax to anyone who is looking to "cut the cord" and switch to an antenna for their broadcast television.

Daxton did an amazing job! Excellent communication, wiring and final installation. I had a major renovation done in my home and Dax did the pre-wiring. Several months later he was back to install the equipment and finish off the job. He was always prompt with information, appointments and was very patient when it came to explaining how the system worked. A few days after he finished I had some questions and he was again very helpful and fast to respond. One of the best contractors that I have ever hired in Toronto.

On May 22, 2019, Dax - the Electroguy - installed a new High Def TV antenna at my house. I am happy to say that I now receive 37 tv channels. Dax advised the best place to put the antenna, installed it in no time at all and then tested the signal reception. We have dual lines in the house and he found that the one we initially connected to had a short in it. He switched the signal to the second line and voila, 37 picture perfect tv stations are now available to us. Great job Dax!

Dax upgraded my old cctv system at a great price with an efficient install. he spent extra time and effort getting my crappy country internet working great for remote viewing as well as showing up 6 months later after one of my cameras had issues and promptly swapped it out and some connectors as a failsafe measure.
Not common these days - a guy who supplies great work at a great price and is willing to stand by it down the line. Go to Electroguy!!

Unbelievably reasonable pricing, Dax and his aide Sheldon was very knowledgeable and experienced. One of the very few people I know who keeps their word. fortunate to be associated with.

We have a barn that is too far from the house for other wireless camera systems. We tried EVERYTHING, and then we found Electroguy. We had the system shipped to us, and were able to follow the instructions ourselves. Daxton was prompt with assistance and the result was literally lifechanging- during lambing season we can now check on our sheep from the comfort of our beds instead of schlepping out to the barn in the middle of the night.

The 30X PTZ camera is a wonderful camera for any farm application, i really like it and i would recommend it whoever deals with livestock, very clear and versatile, i would go for PTZ camera going forward if i would need one.

I own a DB8e antenna and was able to catch 24 channels from my home in Thornhill. I saw Electroguy's youtube videos and was impressed with how his installs yielded more channels. I contacted him and he tried different antenna's (i.e. DB4e and the Eaglestar). In the end, I stuck with my DB8e antenna but he changed the angle of the bays to face directly towards the towers. As a result, I now catch 33 clear channels. I appreciate the time he took to try different antennas and configurations in order to get the most optimal reception. I highly recommend Electroguy.

Dax installed an HD Antenna for me 2 years ago. Since then my family and I have never thought about going back to big cable. The savings are huge, which started after only 3 months after the initial investment.
