Grand valley Paving & Interlock

I hired Grand Valley Paving to repave my asphalt driveway back in July 2017. I spoke to Tony and he was very knowledgeable. I had a driveway fence and they had to take it down to pave and put it back up afterwards. I had a positive experience with them. After 3 years, my driveway looks great.

Last year I had my driveway extended and paved, the extended portion you can we a seem where it meets the original driveway. So it wasnt 1 pour it was 2 pours, doesnt look clean.

Next issue, I did as they recommended to stay off the driveways until its cured. When I drove on my driveway it leaves tire Mark's and sinking. My kids bikes kick stand melted into the driveway.

To say the least I am not happy and wouldnt recommends this company to anyone. They say it's the heat and weather, but it's cheap products. My neighbors around me dont have these issues.

They were an absolute dream from beginning to end. They came right on time and finished quickly. I had hired them to do my driveway and backyard patio around the pool as well. They had beautiful ideas for the job and I allowed them to make all the decisions regarding brick work, colours, etc. I do not have a single regret. Patti picked a stunning brick and did a different colour around the pool which really defined the edge of the pool. Fantastic job! I would definitely recommend them to any one looking to have their driveway or backyard redone!

Met with Tony the owner to do a quote, great guy. Very easy to talk to so we decided to use his company for our front of the house restoration which included the driveway repaved, the walkway ( reset using our original bricks and straightening our flower bed along with the top front of our porch. As you can imagine we were happy to find a company that we felt good about, work finally commences after over a month and a half of the driveway being dug up only to see half the flowerbed reset, several of the walkway stones still wobbling and the top of our small porch not done at all..... for the prices we were quoted we could of had another company do this. Since the walkway etc was not written on the contract, we paid more than we should of and they claimed that they didn't agree to the flowerbed or top of the porch to be done. SO make sure you get everything writing. We paid for half done work because of what the contract said not what the "gentlemen's handshake" was... in cash so they don't have to claim it. Extremely disappointed. Will never recommend them to anyone and we have alot of neighbours that were interested. That's how you stay in business for so long, ripping good people off.

Tony was contracted to complete my driveway (interlock), steps (stone), porch (flagstone), and patio (interlock). Tony was detailed in explaining the concepts and also provided recommendations on product selection. Tony and his crew were very professional and completed the project on time. I am happy with the project outcome.

Very professional staff and work force. Very flexible and cooprative to help in designing any project with wide variety of materials. Extremely happy to hire Tony for my work. I recommend this company to all who are looking for driveway, porch or patio work done in agreed time frame in excellent way.

Bad Bad Bad Bad Bad Bad service for after repair, call the phone for six times about 8 month ago still no body show up, very disappointed.
Not recommended to any one around me.

We hired Grand Valley to remove our old asphalt driveway ( about 120 feet in length ), regrade and level the underlying soil, and lay a new permeable interlock driveway, including a retaining wall along one side of our lawn . The job was finished to our complete satisfaction on time ( within two days) and within budget, and they left our premises in neat and tidy condition. Tony and his crew worked from our preliminary drawings , and took a great deal of trouble over the attractive layout of the decorative border we had requested . They were also very accommodating and courteous in dealing with our immediate neighbour's concerns over rainwater run-off . The final result looks wonderful , and we have had several passersby stop to compliment us , and ask us which firm we used . I would have no hesitation using Grand Valley again, or recommending them to others.

We hired Grand Valley before we know Homestars exists, unfortunatelly. Everything went fine until they completed the job. They worked in big rush, removed the old ones, build the new ones in 8hrs, didn't let the underlayment settle so we are expecting more problems in the future.
Otherwise nothing is straight or level, just look at the pictures and zoom them out. They left the site and my whole street covered with debris, cigarette butts, coffee cups. I had to clean the street and my front yard. The retaining wall was lower than my neighbour front yard so he can slip and fall in my basement garage driveway. They used some chipped blocks in the wall, some curb stones were cracked into half already, some of them were swinging if you walked on them.
We called them back to fix the problems, they did something but most of the things are so bad from the core, they not gonna demolish the whole thing to the gravel, the profit will be gone then.
So we stuck with this poor job. Makes me angry anytime I see it.
