I have used De Koning Electrical & Mechanical many times over the years for jobs large and small, and have always found them to be efficient, reliable, professional and conscientious in their service and work. Recently, I needed a broken light fixture replaced in my parents' basement cold cellar which they enter and use daily (hence the urgency), and Karel came the very next day to perform the work. Although not a large job, it was nonetheless very important for it to get done and I appreciated Karel's care and empathy. His service vehicle is large and modern - like a mobile shop - and prominently labelled, and when you see it arrive you feel instant comfort that you are going to be in good hands and attention. I wholeheartedly recommend De Koning for all your electrical needs.

Karel covered in detail the work that needed to be done and ensured all work was performed to code.In addition to several new counter outlets, microwave circuit, under cabinet range hood, etc he had to reconfigure the panel board to accommodate the additional circuits. Would not hesitate to recommend or use for future projects

called Karel at 6:50pm, arrived at 7:15pm, fixed my issue around 8:30pm including a trip to home depot (I brought a natural gas valve which is for indoor use only, but my work is needed for outdoor). very professional and done excellent work, not only for the issue I told Karel, but all other small thing as long as he sees and he will take care of them, including the final touch. thumbs up for Karel!

Karel answered my email very promptly and visited us soon after we asked him to come and give us a quote. He was very thorough and explained the various options clearly regarding what we needed to change and how to go about it. We had to move a few outlets to rework out kitchen and also move the connector to the fan over the stove since we were moving it. All of this was done within days of our first contact with Karel. Very professional and friendly service. He has a heart to please and it is evident in his work.

Our home electrical supply was 60 amps and needed to be upgraded as soon as possible. After looking at various reviews, we decided to go with De Koning. Not knowing the whole process, Karel helped us tremendously by explaining the different options we had and next steps.
