Cadence Construction and Design

Cadence started our basement project January this year. If you are looking for hard working, honest, and reliable contractors with good workmanship, these guys are it. We had such a good experience dealing with Pat, Rachael and Matt.
We keep hearing horror stories about contractors that don't respond and delaying projects. These guys are the opposite. They work hard to meet the deadline and communicate with you every step of the way so you are aware of the issues. And they do things they promised they would do. For example, the winter was so cold that Pat couldn't finish caulking around the doors. We called him when the weather warmed up and he came right back to finish the caulking and ten more little things that we found for him. They are the type of people you can totally trust - we actually gave them the house key and went on vacation for couple weeks during the reno. Their price is not the lowest out there, but you get what you pay for. The price we posted includes all the sub trade costs as well (electrical, HVAC, plumbing). Best of all, they completed the project within 2 weeks of their forecast (even with unpredictable scheduling conflicts outside their control).

Poor experience with previous builder of my deck, who had relied on ME to correct their mistakes in measurements (wasn't that what I was hiring THEM to do!). Called upon Cadence Construction, who not only found errors in the measurements from the previous company but also found flaws in the design that I had paid for with the other company.
In the end.... Patrick was absolutely amazing on site. Whenever I had a question or concern about something he would take the time to address my concerns. Rachael was superb with assisting in the colours that we chose for our decking and her communication overall was very relaxing. She put our minds at ease, even after the poor experience we had with the previous company.
Our deck turned out incredible and we love showing it off and receiving lots of compliments for it.
