We signed the contract with Beaver in late April. Since our house was being renovated, I asked them not to do the job until early June and were told to call them when ready. We were out of town in May and when we came home, the driveway was completed. When they came to collect the balance payment, we expressed our dissatisfaction and concern of quality as the surface of the driveway is very rough. The man, I believe is the owner of the company, said there is nothing wrong with the driveway, you are not professional and know nothing about paving. During the conversation, he said a lot of bad languages and the worst part was when he asked "Do you understand English?" which we felt being insulted. At the end, the project is fully paid even though we are not happy with their services, attitudes and quality of work.

Unfortunately, as we explained to you previously for over more than an hour the asphalt is a mix of sand and stone. We further explained that suppliers do not make asphalt with just sand and that the stone makes the asphalt more durable. We apologize if your upset, however as you can see from our reviews we are recognized as a top paving company in the GTA.
