Closets By Design Of Central Ontario

I had 4 small closets that came with just a standard single bar/shelf. I needed some organizational help and I got it. It was great that my consult was done at my home so I could see the design vision. I would have liked to have seen the same trim applied along the sides as was put in along the backwall but other than that I love my closets now!

From the beginning to the end, service and quality were excellent. Jane was my designer, and the consultation process ensured she met my needs within my budget. Jane educated me on the different price points offered by CBD, and different options, so when we finalized the design, I was comfortable that the choices made were what I wanted. The installer arrived on time on the date planned, and was very fast without compromising on quality and attention to detail. During the installation of the mudroom, I had to choose the location of the shelves, and once chosen and installed, I realized that moving it 6 inches to the left would be better. He obliged, showing great customer service and without charging more for extra work that my poor choice caused him. Overall, great great service and value. I quoted with two other suppliers before choosing Closets by Design, both were more expensive, and I don't think the quality of the closets would have been any better than what I received with CBD. The only negative was the almost 10 week waiting time, but I looked at that as a sign that they were growing and busy because of the value. I highly recommend and would use them again. (The master closet - which was the largest - and one of the kids bedrooms is missing from the pictures. I would be glad to supply if someone from CBD or Homestar contacts me to get the pictures. )

Closet installation was seamless. Contractor was super professional and left the space spotless! Love my closet!

Kathy is amazing!!! She designed my closet from stage one. She is a lead installer, we request her for this project from start to finish. We got quotes from 6 different companies including California closet. No other places were able to design the closet I wanted to maximize all the space due to configurations of my closet. It has tricky having an narrow and blind corners. Closet by design came up with a solution. Now, I have more space then imagined. I once took up two large closets in my guest bed rooms. Now, everything is in one space plus I have plenty of vacant space for more items. The team is very precessional. They do whatever they can to get the job done right and they come up with idea for my visions of the space. I love my closet it is more beautiful and n I could've imagined. Their work is clean and flawless. Great team!!

I'm completely satisfied with the work done by Closets by Design and would strongly recommend the company to family and friends. Mark, the installer who did the work as shown on these pictures above, did an excellent job and exceeded all my expectations. On top of a job well done, he was very professional and polite and I felt right away that I could trust him, which was very important to me. Thank you so much, Mark! We were very impressed with exact sizing of the precut panels. Cathy, your installer, was very thorough and professional in a very tight installation.
The complex crown molding significantly added to the overall appearance.

I contracted Closets by Design to install new upper cupboards to match the existing lower cupboards in my laundry room. The price was acceptable and the initial consultation went well. The wait period from date of order to date of installation was 9 weeks. I was contacted the day before scheduled installation and was advised that their supplier had sent the wrong size cupboard doors...strike 1. It was agreed that the cupboard frames would still be installed while awaiting word on wait period for the replacement cupboard doors. During installation of the cupboard frame, it was discovered that a specific measurement involving the cold air return had been done wrong and it was going to be half covered by the new cupboard...strike 2. Fortunately, Mark, the installer went above and beyond, and was able to resolve the situation. As for the replacement cupboard doors, I was advised that it would take another 9 weeks for delivery...making it a total of 18 weeks for completion of project...strike 3. My entire kitchen was renovated in half the time. I am happy with the finished product itself, and I give Mark (installer) five stars. However, my overall experience with Closets by Design left me completely unimpressed. I had hoped to work with them again on my closets but will be looking for that service elsewhere.
