Absolutely outstanding work. Several neighbours had told us, when we started asking, that Adcor Construction was the only group we should consider when we had work to do on our house. They were absolutely right! Every step of the way, Shane and his team more than met our expectations. They werent just incredibly professional, they were absolutely perfectionist. Their attention to detail and their commitment to following through on it were amazing. And every single one of the team that worked with us was a pleasure to have around they were polite, friendly, and always took the time to make sure we were happy with the way things were progressing. We have an old house (built in 1914) so work on it can be tricky, but their expertise and depth of experience ensured that we always felt confident that things would be done well. We will definitely hire them again for our next renovation or repair.

We used Adcor in 2019 to do a basement reno.
We felt we needed more space, including an office and a second bathroom. We received several quotes, most builders recommended a costly extension. Shane from Adcor, saw the potential of our dank basement and proposed a basement reno that met our needs without the high costs of an extension. We lived in the house throughout the project. The construction team was courteous and tidy and communicated well with us throughout the project. We now have a dry basement, with a second bathroom, office space and storage. Follow ups after the major work was completed and paid for were always completed promptly.

We have used Adcor before and were very happy. Last year, I hired them to replace some trim around new windows. Long story short, extensive water damage was found under the siding, rotting some studs and extending up to a problem area on the roof. Everything was explained and shown to us, and we decided to expand the scope to remove all the damaged, wet wood. Adcor did a great job, gave us peace of mind and a dry house, along with beautiful new siding that we get a lot of compliments on.

This year, we unfortunately had a second floor washing machine break and dump water everywhere, which seeped through the ceiling to the first floor. While insurance paid for the basic restoration, we elected to use Adcor again and did some additional work such as replacing carpet with hardwood, installing a washer pan, moving a dryer vent, etc. Even though it was a stressful event, I was never worried about the work Adcor did, and it came out beautfully. The guys paid attention to every detail, down to some uneven quarter-round trim that the flooring subcontractor left that they made sure was fixed. Our house was treated respectfully, everything was tidied up at the end of the day, everyone is really nice and Shane (the owner) is always available to answer questions and check up on stuff.

Hopefully we will not need big, unexpected repairs like this again, but if we are ever looking to do more small projects we will be calling Adcor.

We were introduced to Shane/Adcor from neighbours who had work done and highly recommended them. When we first met Shane we were impressed by his professionalism and general comfort level he had with all projects. The scope of our project was quite large, initially we were going to add on an addition to accommodate our 3 children. Once we realized we would have to leave our home for 6 months as the scope of the project developed, we also decided to renovate the other half of our home. There was literally nothing in our home that hasn't been redone. So Adcor literally guided us thru the design stage, permits, general construction and finishing. We thoroughly enjoyed having Shane/Rowan and the Adcor team work on our home for as long as they did. They always consulted us on the details, to make informed choices, they always gave us accurate estimates of the work, they always cleaned up after each day, and they finished the work in the scheduled time frame as they said they would. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way, which is always expected, but these were handled very professionally and honestly. We were so happy with the work that was done, we had them come back and refinish/convert our garage into our home gym a few months later! We are fully satisfied and impressed with the work of Adcor. We think of them as family and would recommend them to anyone. I've attached a couple photos.....don't mind the mess, this is an active home with 3 young kids!.

We had the team at Adcor out to install some interior partition walls, doors, and a new closet. From the first meeting with Shane to walk the project and provide an estimate I knew we were in good hands. Adcor had come highly recommended to us and I could see why. Shane walked through everything we were looking to do and provided valuable suggestions on how best to make it all work within the existing house. When the crew was on site, they were knowledgeable, punctual, and clean. Each day ended with a thorough vacuum and tidy up, which was especially important as we had a toddler. Colton, Rowan, Duncan and the other crew on site kept us up to speed on how the project was progressing, and consulted on any changes needed due to material availability. It was clear that they were most focused on making sure we were happy with the outcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend Adcor and Sons, and will have them back should we need any more work done.

We needed some electrical updating, which required, as well as the rewiring itself, the filling of holes that had to be punched into the plasterwork, and repainting. Our front porch & kitchen were also repainted. Everyone involved in the project was outstanding. The inevitable disruption was kept to a minimum, furniture, curtains etc. protected by heavy plastic drop sheets, & the site cleaned up at the end of each working day). We were kept well informed about what was happening at every stage of the process. The project was completed on time and to the highest standard. We would unequivocally recommend Adcor.

We saw a lot of projects in our neighbourhood by Adcor and they always seemed really nice, so when we had to replace a rotting porch and rickety fence we sought them out first. Shane and Rowan were very responsive, managed to start and finish our project earlier than was anticipated, and the crew were effective, left our property tidy, and did a great job. The fence is solid and lovely and has transformed our yard. They respected the garden and nothing was damaged while working in a tight space. The porch looks great, and exactly as we expected. It was a good experience overall and I would recommend them to anyone.

Adcor did a wonderful job rebuilding the crumbling balcony on our old home. Shane was knowledgeable and responsive. He took the time to assess the structure and worked closely with us to design a three-season covered space that enhances the character of our old home. Rowan and the crew on site were very professional, friendly and helpful. They were also very safety conscious including COVID precautions that were important for us. The whole team takes great pride in their work - the carpentry and finishing touches are really beautiful and we are so happy with the end product.

We hired Adcor Construction to fix some critical problems with our house in Old Ottawa South following a botched renovation by the previous owner of our house. Our issues ran the gamut from a leaky roof to structural defects to interior water damage. Not only did Shane Adsett and the Adcor crew do an incredible job of addressing all of our problems, they showed great care and empathy for our family throughout our ordeal—including respecting all appropriate COVID-19 precautions in this year of the pandemic. Everyone on the Adcor team is a consummate professional who takes pride in their work and treats their customers with kindness and respect. This shows in the quality of their work and their attention to detail. Shane and his team are a pleasure to work with. They are responsive to phone calls and emails and generous with their time in explaining their work and approach to the customer. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We just had Adcor repair and update our front porch, the work was excellent and Shane, Jeff and the crew were great to work with. The work was done on time and on budget even with some minor changes. The porch looks great, but just as importantly, the company and the crew were friendly, flexible and professional. We'll definitely be having them back for more work and I would highly recommend Adcor.
