A & T Mechanical

We got back from a great trip in the Caribbean only to learn that our AC unit was starting to malfunction. Thankfully, a cooler air front came in shortly after our return and lasted for a couple weeks. When the temperature started raising again, it was time to try out the old AC unit again. After letting the unit run for a couple days, it became obvious that the system was likely done and needed to be replaced, however we tried a couple of DIY tips to see if we can get the system to last at least one more season. In the end, it become obvious that we need to call in an expert so we turned to Terry from A & T Mechanical for his help. Terry showed up one evening after working all day in the heat and after connecting his gauges, he was quick to diagnose that there was probably a leak in the lineset as the unit had no refrigerant and was completely empty. We had two options, repair the leak and re-fill with old style refrigerant or replace with a new unit. After some deliberation and quote reviews, my wife and I decided to contact Terry again and give him the go-ahead to replace the unit. Terry and his team arrived on time and explained what they were going to do. The guys were very professional, quiet when I was working (I work from home) and did not disappoint. They removed the old lineset and unit and did not leave any mess. I would highly recommend A & T Mechanical for any HVAC jobs that are required and will definitely be using them in the future to help balance out our gas lines and replacing some other appliances.
