Ermak Ltd. No Longer In Business

Changed all water supply pipes in my house. Overall it was a positive experience, they are not cheap, but worked well with quality and time manner. Will recommend them to anyone.

Hired to revise and complete a rough-in for a total reno. They did mostly what I asked, but per usual contractors, when left alone, they decided to get a bit "creative" with piping routings, like water lines through the middle of an electrical panel area. A cross support piece on my new Ikea sink installed in the basement was broken off completely while they installed the plumbing under. When called on it, they denied breaking it and said "must have been the other contractor", but there was no other contractor. They did not make any attempt to repair. But he denial is the worst - would never use again.

All they had to do was install a toilet on a new bathroom floor. They told me they had to "build up the flange" because the floor was too high - but instead of trimming the floor around the flange so the height was proper, the drain was improperly cut and it sat almost a 1/4" higher than the floor! The bare minimum wax seal could not do it's job, and water seeped out from the flange. Their solution to the improperly installed flange ($100 on top of install price) was to place double-high wobble shims and seal the gap with a whole tube of silicone...the water unable to escape, swelled my sub floor and now I have to replace the whole floor because of Ermak's shoddy work. Warranty not honored because I had to lift toilet to diagnose problem because these guys could not answer their phone. Stay away
