Sos Wildlife Control

I have a raccoon problem and SOS were quick to respond to my request for quote. They came out the next day and gave me a fair assessment. I felt like I could trust them instantly. Highly recommend them.

SOS Wildlife originally got my business, mainly because I had called several companies on a Sunday morning, to try and find someone who could come out quickly to deal with a skunk that had set up home under our addition of our house. Sherwin answered my call, and I'm very happy I got to work with him and his team!
We had a skunk build a den under an addition of our house, which had no basement. SOS came out to assess the situation, and install netting/wiring and a one-way door to allow the skunk to leave and re-locate itself. Simple, right? Unfortunately for us (And Sherwin) this skunk was smarter than the average skunk, and found several ways to return to its home, including placing a rock in the 1-way door to allow entry, and worst of all, dig a hole in my driveway that was against the addition, and burrow from 1 end to the other, leaving out the 1-way door at night and re-entering through the front hole each morning. Each time we discovered that this skunk had outsmarted Sherwin and ourselves, we called SOS back, and they returned to fix our problem, as they stood by their guarantee. This went on for several weeks, and ultimately resulted in the skunk moving on, but not without many frustrating days of battling this skunk.
At the end of the day, the day, the skunk is gone and has not returned - money well spent! We enjoyed our (several) discussions and interactions with Sherwin and the team, and would (and have) recommended them to several others with similar problems!

Where courtesy dwells, service excels. And S.O.S. Wildlife Control is reasonably priced, too. I called to report a racoon invasion at 10:30pm and Sherwin was there to remove it from the bedroom by 11:30pm.

I contacted several companies to have raccoon feces located in the middle of my backyard removed. I was aware that it contains disease which could potentially be fatal if not removed carefully. I was told by one wildlife company that they were no longer removing it because of disease and to contact an asbestos removal company instead. I found Sherwin who said he would remove it and did so quickly. He had all the proper gear and disposed of it. He also sprayed the area as raccoons tend to come back to the same place. It was obvious that he was very experienced. He did a great job.

At midnight, I heard a big bang downstairs in my kitchen. I came down to check what had fallen down – and to my surprise, there was a raccoon, perched on my kitchen counter, staring back at me. (Apparently, it had come down through my chimney.) My husband and I would then take the next two hours coming up with different ways of attempting to lure the raccoon out into the backyard. After it decided to run and hole itself up in the hollow of our cabinets, and we felt like we were at the limit of extraction experiments that were wise to try, it was time to call the professionals.

I visited Homestars and called 6 or 7 other companies who advertised that they were available for emergency calls but never picked up, Sherwin did! And he was at my house within the hour, AT 2:30 IN THE MORNING. After I saw what it takes to remove a raccoon from my house, I am convinced it takes a professional. He came well prepared – even with a smoke bomb to smoke out that stubborn animal. And that animal put up a fight. But Sherwin won!

Thanks to Sherwin we were saved from that ordeal approximately in a half hour. Extremely professional, but friendly...even a great sense of humour at 2:30 in the morning!

I wholeheartedly recommend Sherwin for anyone who is looking for someone to remove wildlife from their property.

As a member of the Board of Directors for a small group of Executive Townhomes, we contacted Sherwin and SOS Wildlife to clean top floor balconies that were infested by pigeons. In addition SOS installed a wire mesh in order to prevent a reoccurence. Sherwin and his team were clean, kind and professional. Myself and the other unit owners were very impressed and thoroughly satisfied with the service provided. I recently purchased a house in Toronto and shortly after I started noticing some feces on my basement floor so I started researching and found out that I had a rat infestation. I went online right away and read some reviews on home stars and decided to contact sos wildlife control. they were very professional over the phone and even more so in person. I booked an appointment, they came and did a thorough investigation and found the entry point the rats were using. they not only closed the entry point but also set up rat bait stations / snap traps to take care of the rats in the future, inside and outside. A big thanks to SOS team solmaz and jamie, you guys were awesome.

Shervin of SOS wildlife responded quickly to my request to have a family of raccoons removed from underneath my deck. Jamie arrived at my house at the scheduled time and managed to remove the baby raccoons from under the deck. He was almost able to get the mother raccoon as well but she escaped literally right through his fingers. Nonetheless, a cage was set up in hopes of trapping the mother later on that night. The next morning, I woke up to see that the mother raccoon and babies were in the cage and were promptly and safely removed from my house later on that same morning. Thanks again Jamie for doing such a great job.

Sos wildlife did a great job removing a raccoon that has intruded into my home that was causing a disturbance. They were very helpful giving me grasp of the situation about how they were going to approach my issue, and assured me that the animal will be removed safely. I would highly recommend contacting them for removing pest from home.
