I indicated that I would pay by cheque the 2nd instalment - they took it from my credit card instead and charged credit card fee

Tree taken down - branches remain and wood all over the place / logs.
Quote was to remove all brush which they can't cause of logs are on top.
Quote incl cutting a few limbs off trees and cut a couple dead trees down. All were fallen and left in location of cut.

Now I have to pay more to have logs cut, removed from area, brush cleaned up.
Advise to ask for a detail quote of work to be done

Crew took great care and respected our property. Each of the 4 crew members knew the specifics of their own work and the finished job looks awesome. Pleasant, enthusiastic and knowledgeable best describes both the office personnel and the tree care specialists. Will without hesitation recommend Georgetown's Hilltop Tree Care and will certainly use their services in the future as required. Both my wife and I were quite impressed by the quality of work performed. 30 ft tree removed, stump and roots also removed.

The crew consisting of Jon, Nelson, and Graeme, worked on my property for eight hours. They were friendly, hard-working and diligent. They knew what they were doing, and made sure I was pleased aesthetically as they went along. My main concerns were a large aged apple tree that needed some dead limbs removed and major pruning, and a smoke bush that had seen better days. Both of them look very healthy and vigorous again. Other trees and bushes had gone wild and needed to be pruned or removed as well, and the crew kept checking to make sure they understood what I wanted. Before they left, they cleaned up everything, even the driveway - not so much as a twig was left behind! I feel that the price was fair and reasonable for such a major job.

Three men came out and worked on two 30 year old maple trees in backyard. We’re extremely satisfied with the outcome. When they finished it was if they hadn’t even been there. In that all debris had been removed as well as winter accumulation. We’ll definitely use Hilltop again.

Great service, very professional and reasonably priced. Had a few trees removed and pruned this week and their crew was by far the most professional thay I have ever used!

They did a great jobs. I got some old trees and dead roots from previous owners of the house so we are planning to redesign our yards. Although there were a little bit of miscommunication due to my language problem but everything did so well. Now we have enough sunlight and much brighter rooms. Thank you so much!

The team was great and they got the work done in a timely manner and for a fair price. Very impressive company, I would recommend them to anyone in need of tree care services.

I searched on HomeStars for help removing our very old and overgrown euonymus shrubs and Oregon Grapein which was impossible to remove by hand. Jason was terrific on returning calls until we could arrange a time to get a quote. His crew arrived as scheduled (it was a two part job) A great crew, very personable, knowledgeable and got the job done with state of the art equipment. Neat and clean. I would highly recommend Hilltop and would hire them again in the future.

We have a tall hedge on the side of our house that needed trimming. We called hilltop and received a call back within a few hours... other contractors did not return our calls or show up. Hilltop arrived onsite within 3 days with a professional crew wearing proper safety equipment. They where very polite, clean and hard working. The crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well. I would highly recommend Hilltop Tree Care!!

The trail of damages done to my property were double what I had actually payed for the stump removal itself (in advance to the work, as requested by the owner).
When contacted to ask about it Jason declined any responsibility altogether, although he had inspected the site prior to executing the work and guaranteed it would be done to the highest standard of quality.
The company claims they have tried to provide remediation measures to the damages incurred which is not true.
