Hiring Chris Stockdale was a terrible mistake. The 59 page report that he e-mailed me was nearly identical to my neighbour's (also negligent) report. He missed rotten structure, windows that don't open or close properly, a leaky roof and a hole in the roof, a bathroom fan that vents into the ceiling (not outside like it should, so it would remove moisture) asbestos in my air returns and a below grade foundation. He called my granite counter tops "arbourite (plastic laminate)" and told me my front door faces West, when it faces North. Do not hire this guy!!! I am now in a lawsuit that will take years to settle and is wrecking my life. He tells me he stands by his inspection report- even though after I showed him the rot he said "well to see that I would have had to get down on my hands and knees, and it was raining that day if you remember.....".
