Abc Appliance Repairs

I’ve had a Viking range for about two years now, and it recently started to make a thumpy sound when I turned it on and I knew it needed servicing. I found ABC Appliance repair guys online and gave them a call. Not only did I need igniters (as I suspected) but also a new manifold. Yikes! It cost a bit more than I expected but worth it as the range has needed very little servicing over the years. There was also a safety concern with gas leaking, so I am very thankful he found it (I had smelled gas earlier). Vlad gave me an estimate before he did any work. He was very professional throughout the whole service call. He arrived very promptly and there was no waiting around the whole afternoon. After he finished, he showed me the old manifold and I could see how it had cracked with age. The parts also came with a five year warranty, my advice to anyone is that before you go out and replace any of your appliances call Vlad, I swear he can probably fix anything.

Should you have any issues with your appliances I highly recommend going with ABC Repair. Our Refrigerator stopped cooling without notice, that is never good when it is fully stocked. So, I called another company that had good reviews but they couldn't come until the next day. I wasn't willing to wait that long, so I called these guys since they had good reviews as well. ABC was able to come out the same day and actually within 2 hours of me calling they showed up at my door. The technician was friendly, clean appearance and nice. He immediately diagnosed the fridge as needing a new cooling fan belt and got right to work. He did not have one of the parts with him, he went out to get it and in less than 40 min he was back with the necessary part. Within 20 minutes the problem was fixed and the fridge was working as if nothing had happened. I am very pleased with their service.

I had a great experience with Abc appliance repair, someone answered the phone right away when I called at 6:50am and they offered to come out on the same day at no additional charge. I had to schedule an appointment for a different day and they called me to confirm and sent me a reminder email. Vlad came out and to fix my GE Monogram refrigerator and was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate for the work and had the parts on him to make the repair right then. My husband and I both work all the time and it is very hard for us to be home to handle these problems it was a relief to have Abc and Vlad make the process so easy and fast. I have complete confidence in them and would definitely use them again if something happens to my appliances.

ABC appliance repair provided wonderful, honest service. Vlad established clear communication and was upfront about all costs. Timely and thorough. Oven works perfectly now. Glad I found him thanks to good Homestar reviews.

I called ABC and dealt with Vlad on the phone twice, once to book the appointment and once to check on the time. Both times he was helpful and friendly. I got a next-day appointment which is really helpful since I didn't have a working stove. I was initially given a four hour window, but when I called the next morning it was narrowed down to a one-hour window. Again, very helpful. The repairman was able to figure out that the heating coils in my stove had burned out. He had the part in his truck so I was able to get my stove fixed during this call. Way cool! It was pricy ($250) but it was the motor and it did get it fixed right away.
Vlad also showed me where I needed to vacuum to keep the unit running smoothly and fixed a rattling sound that had been bothering me. He didn't rush and seemed determine to make sure I was happy with my now-working stove.

Labor Day weekend was a mess for us but these guys came to the rescue, my Viking refrigerator stopped working overnight - completely shut down at 9:30 am. Searched and found ABC, gave them a call and was given an appointment window from 12-4 pm. Great! Was happy that I was able to get something so quickly on the day of the problem. In the process of dumping all my food out, I received a follow up call from Vlad who told me that he was 25 minutes out which was super to hear. He arrived, and was super courteous (he removed his shoes before coming inside - which I NEVER see) and quickly diagnosed the problem given the detail of the problem. About 35 minutes later, the problem was fixed - the refrigerator was purring again. Vlad quickly and efficiently diagnosed and fixed the problem and cleaned up around his work area. I appreciated that he was able to help me out on such a short notice and on the long weekend when 5 other companies that I called were simply closed. Great stuff ABC keep up the great work.

I saw that my freezer would periodically thaw and then refreeze. This means one day my ice cream would be mushy and then rock hard the next, can't have that! I contacted Vlad at ABC Appliance Repair and he was able to fit me in quickly. He showed up right on time. He was very courteous in diagnosing the problem and explained in easy to understand terms what could possibly be happening. There were several possibilities ranging from easy fixes to more expensive. He suggested starting out with the easiest and least expensive fix first and moving on from there. It turned out the relatively easy fix cured the issue after all! All he had to do was vacuum the coils underneath the fridge with his super fancy vacuum attachments and my fridge resumed normal operations. As a first time homeowner, I did not know this was A Thing. Apparently neither did the previous homeowner - sucks! So much dust! Vlad explained that in the future I could take care of myself by vacuuming the filter myself with a regular vacuum cleaner. Very good service and overall a pleasant man to deal with.

I love finding great service people on Homestars, just scored another one with ABC. I had a Bosch washer that wasn't working. I called some time back and they said someone would come out the next day between 9 and 11 am. Vlad arrived right at 10, fixed the problem with the rubber gasket, and while he was waiting to check it out, showed me a filter on the dryer I didn't know about--(I clean the one in the door regularly even though I rarely use it) but this one is hidden behind a panel and did need cleaning. Fabulous extra info. And he charged me less than the usual call fee because it was so quick. Lovely man and awesome service (By the way he told me about someone who got really mad recently because when he diagnosed their problem and said he needed to order a part that would take a few days to get here, rather than having it for the next day as they demanded they said they would write a bad review on Homestars, I think thats just silly.) Great company and great service!

My GE Profile fridge was slowly dying Vlad resuscitated it skillfully and quickly, saving me $1500-$2000 to replace with another GE fridge something I truly did not want to do. Making an appointment over the phone was very easy. During the 9am-11am window, Vlad arrived at 9:30am and was very professional. He quickly disassembled the bottom shelf separating the refrigerator from the freezer, assessing that the fan was no longer functional. This confirmed my suspicions after reading the manual. Fortunately, Tony had the necessary part to power my refrigerator below room temperature. Defrosting with his tool took no time, certainly not like what I used to do back in college with my mini fridge (put a towel under it and let it melt overnight). During the repair, he was careful not to set his tools and the refrigerator drawers on my hardwood floor, which I very much appreciated. Best part was that he was done in under an hour. A house call estimate for a job is $55, which is waived from the final bill. He also added a 3 month warranty on parts and labor. I ended up spending a total of $200 which I was happy to pay for the service that I got.
