Theo Mineault Windows

This company created and installed my kitchen and created an error which cost me over $3000 to fix. Michel advised he would rectify the error but then did not. He visited to remove the hood vent cover but never returned to fix the issue. He left me without a functioning kitchen for over one month. I had to pay for all the damages they caused myself. Horrible service. The hood vent was installed 5 inches too low by this company and the gas to my oven was red tagged. It was impossible to move the original hood vent up 5 inches so I had to purchase a new hood vent and am left with damages to the side panels of my cabinets which can't be repaired. The side panels would have had to be replaced and the owner refused to replace the panels, even though they originally said they would. The image shows the damage to the cabinet side panels which show when we move the hood vent 5 inches higher. This was in no way our fault. This company had the specs for our appliances when they designed the kitchen.

In 2012 I installed 13 insulated windows bought from Theo Mineault. They did beat all competitors pricing, however a year later I had to replace 6 of the windows and had one of their service specialists install the new windows. The job took about 20 minutes and cost me approx $250. I would advise anyone with flat head screwdriver and a rubber mallet to do it yourself, very easy job. In 2014 I find myself replacing another 2 windows. At this rate I will be replacing the windwos every two years for the rest of my life. Windows were poorly made.

When it came time to renovate our home, it was to include replacing 30 yr old windows and doors. The job fell to Theo Mineault and was handled with a great deal of care and concern for what we were looking for in terms of design and quality. The job was completed in two phases over three years and each of the phases was well managed by crews who worked quickly and diligently, cleaned up after the job was completed and left us completed satisfied.
