I called based on other reviews and so glad I did. I was worried that we would have to balance getting the city to turn off the water outside so that the inside tap could be replaced and then back on again. When I called the person I spoke to, was very knowledgeable and explained the steps. We had Alex, who turned up right after the water was turned off. I realised it would require some keyhole surgery and that some of the wall would be removed to do this. The wall was removed carefully. The pipe and valve was then replaced. At that point the tap to the hot water tank could be replaced. We had plenty of time to call the city and have the water restored.
