Our very old garage door broke at the worst possible time (having just removed a raccoon and wanting to keep it out). Garage Door Geeks are the real deal - came quickly and it was fixed in minutes at a very reasonable cost. Also got a quote for a new door which we will follow-up in the spring. We are a group of neighbours that share a large parking spot. The entry is a large, wooden structure with a heavy wooden door that opens sideways. It was originally built as a patchwork of garage parts, rollers - an engineering feat! After 15 years it fell apart, but no one in Toronto wanted to touch it (complex, self-made parts, etc).
Then the Garage Door Geeks came. They not only offered to fix it, but made suggestions on how to improve it!
The sideways sliding garage door works better than ever. Their work was highly professional and absolutely reasonable for the work involved.

I know it's hard to believe anyone should get a 10☆ review (unless it's your son or something) but these guys truly deserve it! We found them here on Homestars, asked for a quote for a very tough and unusual job. Nazar came exactly when he said he would, gave us a start and finish date one month hence (a special motor needed to be ordered), came on the day and time he said he would to do the job and finished as he predicted. I cannot say enough about his professionalism, job well done, price. Just everything. Truly restored my faith in trades!

Oleh came to replace a broken pull cable on one door. Since he was here for that, I also requested replacement of old door seals that had lost flexibility and weather stripping that had shrunk and buckled on both doors.

All nicely done, and the new weather stripping is better than what is sold for DIY at the big box stores.

I had technicians from two other companies who both charged a service fee and were unable to ascertain the problem with the door not working. I thought the motor was burnt out and they immediately began suggesting a solution that ranged from $500 to $800 and one encouraged me to get a whole new door for $3000 and said they would install he new motor I had already purchased for an additional $225. Another company I contacted, was quoting $1500 for the repair.
When I called Garage Door Geeks, Nazar came the same day to look at the problem and did not charge a service fee. When the technician, Pavel, arrived as scheduled, he was very knowledgeable about the existing mechanism and was happy to attempt to fix what was there. He did not try to upsell me in any way. The mechanism had to be replaced and Pavel had to make some other adjustments to ensure the door was working properly after the install. In addition, he told me the original motor was working fine and there was no need to replace it. Thank you Pavel for excellent service

We mistakenly backed into one of our garage doors and the bottom panel was damaged. We saw the awesome reviews for Garage Door Geeks on HomeStars and decided to call them. Boy was that a good decision, spoke to Oleh who came by within a few days and put in a strut and repaired the bottom panel to the point where it's almost impossible to tell anything happened!! In addition he has ordered a new panel for us which will be installed as soon as it's available. TOP NOTCH company, awesome guy too!! Very Happy with the service 10/10!!

Oleh came and installed our new garage door bottom seal and tuned up the rollers, hinges, and spring of our double car wood garage door. We were impressed with his punctuality, professionalism and the work performed. Excellent job.
